temmyo: I used the passport agency at Commerce street downtown Dallas. But I suggest you check the website travel.us.gov for the agency closest to you (assuming you not in Dallas). 1 Like |

Veka: I didn't use too and its my first. @the bolded. You have to be decided o cos I think you need to prepare your mind for it, it made it easier for me. I kinda made myself get used to the idea. I spent total of 4 hrs from entering the hospital to delivery. Active labour was maybe 40mins, wasn't really feeling much the first two hrs. I was 4cm when I went to the hospital. |

And i saw this yeye girl at the enterance of the hospital smiling as the cab dropped her making some of us look lazy. Abeg don't mind her o, just free your mind, if the pain gets unbearable, just ask for it. There is no prize attached for being an hebrew woman. Just being the cute baby home. MrsBee: 1 Like |

merrymum: @merrymum Thanks for the feedback. The Nigeria immigration guys don't give problems at Lagos POE? Any special processing when you bring baby in using ETC? I'd like to consider the option on this journey if only it's Faster And won't give me hassles. I don't have patience for the antics of some immigration workers... Pls help with info if you don't mind. Cc everyone |

Veka: My dear, even if you decide not to use it now, when labour sets in, you'll be begging for it and you may or may not get it at that point. During my first pregnancy, I decided I wasn't gonna use it. But when I got into active labour I begged for it and they said NO. Their reason? I didn't indicate interest in it during my antenatals and they didn't have an anaesthesiologist on ground at that moment. I was just 4cm dilated when it started. I was in pains for over 12 hours! This was one of the so called top 3 hospitals in Lagos! My doctor actually passed a comment that my pain endurance level was quite high But guess what? I was happy with myself that I didn't use it eventually and I'm not gonna use it for my second hoping my hubby will be by my side to help soothe the pain and that my labour will progress faster than the first But I hear epidural it's bae and isn't a bad idea 2 Likes |

Nnystc:To type this days na work #life of a twin mama Gave birth at St Francis in Lynwood. Paid $15 at hospital to expedite the BC. Thursday:Filled forms online for naija passports. Friday: Picked 2 copies each of BC from Vital Stat Office Bought money order($77 and $30) @ the post office.sent the $77 money order to Innovate1 services. Saturday:bought infant tickets for the babies at the airport.called the US passport agency line to book an appointment for Monday. Took the babies to Walgreens to take passport photos(2 set-1 set for US,2nd for naija) Monday:Innovate1 confirmed the money order, printed the receipt and acknowledgement page. Went to US passport appointment (infant ticket is a complusory requirement o)their office at Wilshire Blvd, paid for expedited and was told to pickup 2 days later. **Booked a red eye flight to Washington(depart on Wednesday night by 10pm,arrived DC 8am on Thursday, head straight to the embassy, paid extra $85 for each baby for same day collection.finished by 1pm.travelled back to LA by 5pm.got home 10pm Thursday evening. Note:Hubby is not interested in mailing US passport for visa and ETC is almost $1000 for 2 babies with postage(and just for 7 days). LA is far from all the embassies because when you take normal morning flight you will arrive from 3pm and you won't be able to do anything that day that's the reason for red eye flight. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Babyidj01: I had my 2nd in port land oregon in 2013. doctor was 1900 though I also had to pay 250 for 1st appointment and 75 for subsequent appointments. However the hospital was very expensive. I paid abt 7800 for a vaginal birth.i got to know my bill after I had given birth( wrong move) and it was over 13000(for uncomplicated VD o) but I ended up paying 7800 after discounts. Hospital is providence st vincent and Dr Decastro Of course I didn't go back this time |

Flavour1900:You have to go to Harris County birth certificate center (Google to get address) to obtain the Birth cert, then if SSN doesn't get to your mail on tym, call them or go straight to their office. |
