FrontPageLawyer: The uk in sheffield can not verify any document from uk... The uk government from Abuja have a way of calling banks.... and trust me if there is one thing i know about uk... they are stingy with funds... the government does not even want to spend any amount on your application... so taking your documents to sheffield when it is a visitor visa i disagree.. |

tunderule2016: Please stop misleading people here. All I can do is laugh since you don't know what N18,000 is meant for and you cannot differentiate the consulate/embassy from a submission centre. Let me give you a little assignment, start reading from 2014 and you'll know what N18,000 does at teleperformance IKeja. 3 Likes |

FrontPageLawyer: What is mis leading here .... I asked you a simple question.... which deserves a simple answer... Firstly, The UK Visa Application Centre in Ikeja is converted to a User Pays VAC and not the VI.... secondly, every payment you make it is online so please THE MAN that does not mis lead.... educate me .. I am telling you categorically that what you said about processing of VISA is wrong; this is my point to you ... the Visitor visa is done in NIgeria (abuja) and Settlement ( Sheffield). Mr lecturer giving assignment ... why dont you give yourself an assignment and gets your facts right. 18000 Naira is for what that is all i asked you ... Mr LECTURER IF YOU NEED GLASSES PLEASE TELL THE ROOM WE CAN HELP YOU OUT .... because in no shape or form , have i told or mention any location to anyone here or specifically told someone about the cost of visa fee... SO IF YOU ARE HAVING A BAD TUESDAY GO DRINK OR BITE YOUR PEN(BIRO AS IT IS CALLED) |

tunderule2016: I won't contest with you since you can't even differentiate the embassy/consulate and a commercial partner. You're too desperate. Just start reading from 2014 to know that the UK Visas and Immigration's new commercial partner is Teleperformance and they have ONLY three submission centres in Nigeria. Ikeja, Victoria Island and one in Abuja. At Ikeja you pay extra N18,000 to submit an application. I won't educate you on this subject. Use google, but please stop misleading people here. FrontPageLawyer: LOLOL.... well i can not differenfiate AM AN ILLETRATE LOL.... can you quote me exactly when i said or mentioned VISA fee... stop being paranoid ... and get a grip..... If you can not quote me then shut up.... Mis leading people... if you do not know what to say hold on to that bye .... STOP BEATING AROUND THE BUSH.... MY POINT TO YOU MR IS YOU ARE VERY WRONG ABOUT VISA BEING ISSUED... AND IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VISA ISSUING AUTHORITY AND VISA APPLICATION CENTRE ... I BELIEVE YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE SPEAKING TO MR GOOGLE... IF YOU HAVE LOST TRACK LET ME BRING YOU BACK YOU SAID (FrontPageLawyer: @tunderule2016 Submission of application at Teleperfomance Ikeja attracts extra N18,000 and applications are treated here in Nigeria and it takes from 5-14 working days for UKBA to reach a decision, while at Teleperformance Victoria Island, you don't have to pay the extra charges aside your visa fee and applications are treated at Sheffield UK. @ifyalways was right. ) Firstly, you have read what ever you are reading wrongly because @ifyalways was responding to @franktalk007 which i was not even in that conversation.... SO TELL ME HOW DID TUNDERULE ENTER THIS MATTER.... IF YOU ARE HATING PLEASE TELL US SO WE CAN KNOW .. ABI DID I COLLECT YOUR WIFE!!!!!! GETS A GRIP MR AND GO HUG A POLE!!! THAT WILL HELP YOU GET STRAIGHT!! |

FrontPageLawyer: Maybe if you have spoken the right words then i might have even understood what you were talking about ... An additional 52 pounds not 18000 naira... please try to always quote the UK GOV quote not your own... and there is noting in here that states... Because of that payment you will be getting your application reviewed at ABUJA... LMAO!! dude you are lost!! An additional fee of £52 will be charged to use this visa application centre of Lagos Ikeja. You must pay this fee at the same time you pay your visa fee and before you attend the Lagos Ikeja visa application centre. Failure to pay this fee in advance will result in your appointment being cancelled. LINK HERE... https://uk.tlscontact.com/ng/los/index.php |

tunderule2016: My Tuesday is well. I come here to help and give valid and useful information to great people because this same forum blessed me. I get more than 60 PMs in one month but unfortunately I don't respond to personal messages because of the doctrines here which includes transparency and honesty. So my brother I am not bothered with your inconsequential tales. I don't need fame. I don't run a visa consultancy service, but project management firm. This is where I spend my leisure except on weekends. My point is simple. Don't mislead people here. Don't come here to tell us UK Government can't spend money calling banks to get information because they're stingy. It's unprofessional. Since you don't know Ikeja charge N18,000 extra to submit an application. I won't forgive you on this one. You also do not know Ikeja's timeline is different from Victoria Island's. I forgive your ignorance for this one, but my brother you goofed seriously as an agent. I don't just come here to post, I do extensive research. I pity anyone that listens to you. 2 Likes |

lekansola: That figure is not too much considering the fact that your salary is above average. but if i'm making that list i will put it at £300, £100 for transport, £100 for feeding and £100 for ticket fees for those places you tend to visit. |

Na wao. I still maintain that VI applications are sent to and treated at Sheffield. On the package or rejection letter, it's there " Sheffo" People have being called on phone from Sheffield for visit visas when they invite family or friends. 2 people even affirmed that on this thread. Embassies don't call to confirm bank statements, they email the banks concerned. No one here is all knowing or an island. We are here to help each other, so all this pettiness is uncalled for, IMO 3 Likes |

FrontPageLawyer: Thanks frontpagelawyer. The fund in the account has been there for over a year. its actually a fixed deposit that drops into the account every month and rolled over with the interest. What do u think. can I go ahead with this explanation? Also can I just print the statement to the day before the lodgement. |

I never doubt you my dear... As for the Bank statement either way via email or phone call they contact banks because , when i used my bank statement once for a family.... i was contacted by my bank that the UK embassy called .. requesting if the funds were genuine but my bank never disclosed the balance... Anyways, the funny thing about visa is every situation is different for each person... It all depends on the circumstances. What was funny to me was i never commented on your post or thread but if i get accused of something i try to clear my name off. Anyways, your point is noted.. cheers ifyalways: |

Frontpagelawyer and tunderule2016... relax pls. Experience is the best Teacher, I want to state categorically that all applications submitted at VI center are treated in Sheffield UK.... All applications submitted at Ikeja center are treated in LAGOS. My Aunt submitted her application last year at ikeja, and her visa was issued here in Nigeria which shows on her visa. My friend submitted on a Friday at VI centre, church gate tower in lagos and my friends mum got a call from sheffield UK on Monday and few days later when we got the parcel on the 6th of April, 2016, the visa shows that place of issued- SHEFFO. @ tunde... U are in UK and You believe in reading thru UKBA website, Frontpagelawyer had applied so many times and afterwards he got the visa, I am not an agent but I have helped so many people around me to couple documents for UK visa. UK can spend more than your application fee to verify whatever document submitted. The embassy sent a delegate from lagos to verify a microfinance statement account last year, Finally and I quote, sheffield and Ikeja belongs to the same UK Embassy. Shikenna 2 Likes |

I do see your point and example.. and if you read the thread very very...good and unbiased; I said Visitor visa application which was applied for in VI was issued at ABuja.... this was a visitor visa.... Dude please because am in uk does not mean am not updated or i dont help people with UK Visa....so as i said everyone situation depends on how UKVI tackles your application... your last paragraphs (@ tunde... U are in UK and You believe in reading thru UKBA website, Frontpagelawyer had applied so many times and afterwards he got the visa,) Please try not to say things you do not know... because already you judging but i will stop at that.. and please when talking about VISA people should try to specify is it VISITOR VISA or SETTLEMENT VISA!!! but just saying visa complicates everything .... I stand to be corrected but again i will repeat the Visitor visa issued to a family of two applied for at VI was issued from ABJ.. Me being in Uk does not justify my knowledge and experience so i disregard that point... but every other point u have made is noted.. and thanks ... but also, remember Every one case is different and handle differently . As you have stated Uk embassy sent a delegate to a microfinance... I have never heard that before but i have learnt from your sister case... Someone said earlier UK only email bank.., However in a case years back UKBA called my bank this case u mentioned they sent a delegate which i have never heard but it is not impossible.. thanks again for sharing Case closed not talking on this issue anymore... Have a blessed Wednesday everyone!!! clamgo on my mind!!! askari01: |

I have been following this thread for quite sometime. This is my first time of commenting on it. I sincerely commend everyone that has contributed in one way or the other. There are numerous lessons to be learnt here if one takes his/her time to go through most of the pages on this thread. I know it could be daunting, trust me. One thing I know is you would be glad you did. Does anyone know the current timeline for UK Family Visitor Visa? I submitted an application at Churchgate VI on the 13th of this month. Wife has been contacted via phone to confirm my visit but up till this very moment, i have not received a decision made email. It is my first UK visa application. |
