One of the most irritating comments of this administration. In a recent interview with Radio Continental, Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina spoke on president Buhari's take on the recent attacks by Fulani herdsmen in some parts of the country. Adesina said contrary to public opinion, president Buhari had addressed the issue before... |

hese murderous herdsmen are only endangering the lives of all Fulanis in the southern hemisphere, because with these series of sense attacks on the sleepy and armless people, it's just a matter of one or two more attacks of any magnitude, the people will declare war on Fulani whether normads or not the government reputations will suffer for it, so it's high time President Buhari acted swiftly to guide against any form of genocide. 5 Likes |

In a civilized world, the president would have address the nation on a live tv. Unfortunately we are in a jungle. Agatu massacre is a perfect example, Obama will make a speech and address the Nation just because of ordinary shooting. Buhari promised to fight impunity and corruption but he's evidently encouraging Impunity 7 Likes 1 Share |

In civilised climes, the aged ones like buhari who suffers from psychosis are permanently confined in old people's home and receiving psychiatric attention. buhari is a cold hearted animal who has refused to address a people he swore oath on Quran and the constitution to protect while they are being dailly slaughtered and buried in mass graves. An animal caught on national television threatening blood of dogs and baboons is today the president of 200 million people and the results are self evident. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Issues as these are too sensitive to be politicized. The bloodletting is getting out of hand. Nigerians are eagerly waiting for decisive actions to be taken, not the kid's gloves kind of handling the matter is getting right now. That said, for Mr president, I understand quite how delicate this must be for him. And for some reason, I can relate. Coming from Plateau State, there was a time when incessant attacks were carried out on Barkin Ladi LGA, some parts of Jos south and Riyom LGAs. It was sometime around 2012/2013, when religious crisis was slowly dying down, and people, many of whom reeled from the 2010 riots began to bury the hatchet. The assailants carried out waves of attacks, one after the other. One fateful night, they got matched toe for toe in one locality when they met the villagers armed ready for them. They had to retreat, in the process, one of them dropped his tag--an army tag. Attention turned elsewhere. Plateau people began protesting that all the military men stationed in the state be withdrawn. I still don't know what became of the investigations carried out, but we later discovered some of the military men didn't want to lose out on the little change they were getting, so decided to carry out coordinated attacks disguised as herdsmen so to make the people believe that the war was still on. That for them, was the only way to stay back and keep earning the proceeds from war. Not saying this couldn't be the fulanis, but it looks tinged with sinister intentions of misguided elements. It could be anybody! 5 Likes |

What is wrong with his comment. We live in a country where the institution of authority has it value, otherwise the president comments should be an issue. What are the police doing and other law enforcement agencies doing. You should as well ask the president to make a comment when you miss your flight or the gate to your street is locked against you. |

Bigblogman:you rightly recall how Lagos State Governor curtailed Mile 12 riot which warranted the President less involved or make direct public pronouncement being the last point for moment . But same scenario was unfairly politicised against yhe last President over Chibok Girls kidnapping in a State with a sitting Governor like that of Lagos. 3 Likes |

The government's lack of adequate response is worrisome n can only serve to embolden these raiders n build distrust. The graphic pictures going around on social media is enough to stir up anyone to vengeful action irrespective of whether Ur Ibo or not. Not sure the fulanis would have been crazy to try this in the past if not f the ............. Now, everyone that has fulani hanging around them are going to be on guard, scared they don't rise up one day n...... Are we now all going to start arming ourselves, just in case Ppl are being murdered and the government wants to compensate them with Ranches ...ok Surprising??... Not really. @ikarma.... that's not really necessary. Lives are lost, don't gloat. |

sometimes ago, i remember how some people from certain region always found joy in any news from the northeast regarding bokoharam attack on innocent citizens. all this was just to score cheap point in order to have reasons to discredit the present government. you will see them in celebrating mood as if human lives means nothing to them without putting themselves in other’s shoe. even the recent killing in agatu, we heard them call the agatus cowards and different unprintable names with questions like why did they vote this administration? so they deserves what they are experiencing. now the table has turned around where the deer chases the dog, and the dog chases the hunter. the monstrous .fulani herdsmen has started their rampage in southeast especially the recent occurrence in enugu.though this act is very barbaric where they slaughter human like goat after raping their women and then destroy their properties. only a heartless human being will derive joy in hearing such news. my brothers from the region have started calling for help from left, right and centre, calling for the unity of other southern brothers and government aid. even though we saw their mood during the mile12 clash between Hausas and Yoruba traders where some humorously said it a fight of buhari and osinbajo’s boy. my question is how ll you feel now when others celebrate with your predicament? should we pray for more so we can condemn the government? when fire is razing down your neighbour’s house, it is your responsibility to put it off. ifnot your house ll not be spared and it might be the next. www.nairaland.com/3071273/hypocrisy-very-bad-thing-fulani 1 Like |
