Fulani herders activity is archaic and not in tune with 21st century practise. The solution to this problem is simple. First, fulani herdsmen should be disarmed with force.
The governors in the south should come under a fora, mandate every herdsmen or cattle businessmen to register their activities in every state. The states should encourage indegenes financially, so they can start cattle ranching within their locality.
No where in the western world is normadic herding encouraged. It has no place in the 21st century civilization.
The governors just need to take their state's destiny into their hands.

Every Enugu indigene now should get ready for whatever comes around.
If I should advice, get a gun, at least a 9mm, murder in cold blood any Fulani herdsman that comes around. The President has already given us an impression that there is no such thing as illegal possession of assault weapon; so we can all turn Gangster.

I suspect iPod youths are behind these attacks. They are trying to provoke a tribal clash but hiding away in London.

It may appear so. I don tire for Naija, so it don't matter. Since igbos have mouth oniine, they should face the Fulanis offline. Any Yoruba that interferes in this tribal clash is a bastard. Let them work things out between themselves. ibos hate Fulanis as much as Fulanis hates ibos.

– The Enugu police has referred to the perpetrators of the attack in Enugu as hoodlums

– The police sympathised with families of the victims and promised to bring the perpetrators to book

– It also clarified the number of victims affected by the onslaught

The Enugu state police command has provided a report on the supposed Fulani herdsmen attack which occurred in Ukpabi Nimbo community in the state but significantly referred to the perpetrators as hoodlums rather than herdsmen

The attack occurred on Monday, April 26 in Uzo-Uwani council and it was reported that 500 people died in the attack while over 2000 persons were displaced as they fled to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru, even as Nkpologu natives fled to Nsukka in fear of attack.

Houses were reportedly burnt while goods worth millions of naira were lost while it was reported that Fulani herdsmen imported about 500 others from Nasarawa state to help launch the attack on the community.

However, in a statement signed by Ebere Amaraizu who is the spokesperson of the Enugu state police, it was reported that only 6 persons died while 11 persons were injured as against the earlier figures of causalities and that the attack was carried out by hoodlums.

The police also confirmed that vehicles were burnt and damaged in the attack but assured that the perpetrators will be brought to book

Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports that some Fulani herdsmen invaded Umuchigbo community in Enugu, just a few days after an initial attack.

NPF is the most useless people I have ever encountered. Hoodlums attack village community for what reason? Did they come to steal or to kidnapp the members of the community? What rubbish are talking about? If they are looking lies to cover their inefficiency, they should at least look for something reasonable please. What a nonsense!!
Re: Enugu Attack: Police Releases Statement by Orikinla(m): 10:00pm On Apr 27, 2016
They were Hausa Fulani herdsmen. And President Muhammadu Buhari must change them first, because charity begins at home. He should call them to order if he wants peace and not war.

I pity the DSP. The day that these people will attack him or his relations in the village, he will realize that these people are neither hoodlums nor herdsmen but terrorists rather.

Fulani will occupy their lands ....no problem. Most of them are in Lagos or in a Malaysian jail for dealing in drugs...the rest are here fighting Yorubas online.... cheesy

An average Nigerian have the mentality of a monkey, 95% unfortunately. In situations like this, Nigerians are supposed to Unite and condemn the attack rather the tribes are making jest of each other.

When will a black man start thinking like human?

In situations like this, solidarity is what is needed, these are real people and real victims affected and not a bunch of non-living things.

This is why oyibo will always be ahead while Nigerians follow like mumu undecided

If it was inter communal clash, the NPF should let us have the names of communities involved. If it was inter-cult, they should please break it down.

Making a press release and calling an obvious religious cleansing by Fulani herdsmen the handy work of hoodlums isn't just being clever by half but being quite insensitive to both the dead and their families

As an investigative organ of government, why is the police unable to tell us the purpose of the "hoodlums" attack?

May members of family of the Enugu State Police Command, especially that zombie Igbo man that signed the letter suffer same fate as those macheted and killed if this their c.o.r.k and bull story is a lie!!
