I just watched the first episode of America Horror Story: Hotel....LOVED IT!!! I have only seen parts of the other seasons but will faithfully tune in for 'Hotel' weekly.

I found it to be creepy, funny, gory, suspenseful, and very sexy in a psycho type of way...lol. But of course I'd like this kind of show afterall I am a huge Penny Dreadful fan with edgy tastes in entertainment, hehehe . What did you think of the premier?

Also, did u see all of Fear The Walking Dead season 1?

I'll check them out when TWD goes on mid-season hiatus. Of the other seasons how would you rank them from Best to Least? How are you enjoying the current season? Lady Gaga has impressed me with her acting in this role. This season is pretty creepy.

To be quite frank, i haven't seen season 5 yet. I''m heartbroken that Jessica Lange isn't part of the cast this time around. I will however still watch it cos i love Sarah Paulson's roles on earlier seasons.

As for rating...we might have different tastes. But here goes:

1)Asylum! Season 2 : This was just awesome. The dialogue, the plots, the characters: A serial killer, aliens, nuns(SISTER JOAN!!), possessive demon e.t.c..... This is one i won't forget in a Hurry. It is the only one among the first four that really had some horror.

2) Murder House (Season 1): Mehn...i should have tied this with season 2 but there were some certain things i had issues with. Anyways, I loved the end. So much peace in a tragedy. And the hey piggy pig scene..Epic!! In fact, let's just say this had to finally settle for number 2 cos i could have easily swapped this with Asylum. A lot of killing here. Watch this first or coven

3)Coven (Season 3)
Coven was cool...I mean, witches with powers...what's there not to like? Most females dig this more than the rest. Fun all the way. Truth be told, the reason why this one is as low as number three was cos it didn't live up at all to the horror name. Got so crazy addictive when they started to take the tests to determine the new supreme witch. Was nice.

4) Freak Show (Season 4)
Wasn't so bad but wasn't as unforgettable as the rest IMO. They had a great concept though but i was let down a little. Just a little. Nice ending though!

I will check out season 5 soon though. I hope its as freaky as you have said

Like i said, coven is third on my list cos it had neither horror nor freaky qualities. It is a totally different thing from what the franchise should be.

Hey Dragonking, it's been a while bro.... I have been on the CW and HBO shows lately since my favorite Showtime shows will continue next year.... I have been waiting for Black sails but Since Starz network has decided to start this Ash vs Evil dead stuff, I might just look into it.... The ratings for the show have been very high.... Will check it out after I am done with True Detective.

Black Sails is about the time when pirates were the big thing in the Caribbean. The British trying to shut everything down by going after the main crews. People trying to play each other and jockey for power. Ya know the stuff we seem to like here, lol.

Thanks for asking of me. Although I did want to tell you, I didn't want to make anyone feel bad for me. I had to have surgery...which came about very quickly. I had 2 weeks to prep for it at the end of Feb. I actually was actually quite afraid that I would not wake from surgery . Fortunately a good friend of mine was my surgeon, I knew he would do his best, and God got me through. I was quite weak and in the following three weeks after surgery I had to have 2 blood transfusions. I had booth of my knees replaced with titanium prosthetics and it was terribly painful, I'll be rehabilitating for quite some time and actually did nearly 2 months in the hospital after surgery. I am home now and I'm making progress. It's tiring and painful but I see the light at the end of the tunnel although it's far off at this point. I really hoped that I would make it through so that I could see this season Penny Dreadful and be able to talk with you guys once again. I really missed our weekly discussions, lol.
I am sorry that I didn't share this with you because I know you would have checked on me and appreciated it. So, no feeling bad I still have a long way to go so you can still check on me from time to time and ask how I'm feeling

I believe dat new Doctor attending to Miss Ives is a relative of Dracula(d guy now dating Dr Victor's man made gal)....... Lots of mysteries I'm dis new season I can tell!

Now as far as Penny Dreadful I was wondering the same thing... what is up with Dracula? Now what is the first season that I vaguely remember some type of Dracula creature being killed on a boat or coming after her in some kind of way where the gang helped her out? If I am remembering correctly maybe they didn't kill Dracula (if at all that was him) maybe he what is severely injured and just needed some time to heal and regroup his little army of vampires.
And I do believe it is the devil hunting her but maybe because she so special other type of Immortals are also attracted to her and want her or maybe the devil is working through other Immortals to try every angle to get at her?
My poor Vanessa was looking and living rough in the first half of the episode, tho . Do you think that was all over heartbreak or do you think it was a total meltdown that encompasses everything thus far?

Dr. Frankenstein is looking a hot mess and cracked out... I'm not quite sure if his old friend Mr. Hyde is going to be a good thing or a bad thing for him.

I'm very interested to see how the Native American man well work into the story. He seems to be really cool so far.

Oh.... and is homeboy really going to walk across the frozen ocean to go home? I suspect that's going to be one long walk. HAHAHA!
