The dullard never see anything yet..He and Nigerians will soon find out that GEJ was not really the problem but rather our useless, senseless governors who can't manage and generate money for the state. The likes of Aragbesola that was lying that GEJ was the one responsible for his inability to pay salaries then would soon do the same to you. 55 Likes 5 Shares |

Why is Edo state not in the list? Are pensioners not supposed to be paid too? My retired mum has gone for verification, biometric capturing, etc, more than TEN(10) times. She was last paid her May 2015 salaries, as a pensioner. I know very well that Local government workers were last paid in October 2015. Oshiomole is working. 5 Likes |

Not only states, you will soon be shocked Nigeria doesn't have light, Nigerians can not afford to buy anything at the market, Nigerians still queue at the filling stations. Capital projects are suffering, government not paying salaries, state government lack prioritization on how to spend their IGR and allocation. They keep running after loans and bail out funds. 1 Like |

"How can we save when we are not sovereign" Just when you thought you have heard it all in this country, another mumu comes along. Without total fiscal Federalism; we are wasting our time. People like Aregbesola and Fayose can fritter the state resources on frivolities because they are expecting free money from the FG. When it fails to come as expected, they complain and whine like babies prevented from suckling. The states are like spoilt children of a very rich man. They are hopeless, helpless and lazy . They cannot fend for themselves even at old age cos they have been wired not to. 9 Likes |

The problem with our states is that they over recruit workers for the sake of politics, ideally no states should spend more 35% of its total revenues on wages, personally I wish a law exist that states that if all state employees do not get their wages then neither should the governor, his deputy nor any member of the assembly should recieved any wages too. 6 Likes |

Apart from corruption in all tiers of government in Nigeria, the problem of Nigerian government inability to pay salaries of its workers stem from unreliable biodata of its workers which have resulted in ghost workers. Nigerian government do not have a reliable data of the number of workers that are in its workforce. Government in Nigeria refused to update their information system. Government refuse to apply modern technology to know those that need jobs, those that are in its workforce, those that are due for retirement etc. There is too much laxity in the part of government in Nigeria. The problem has been with us since Nigeria gained Independence from Britain. 6 Likes |

I will say it again!!!!! Nigeria states are d problem we are having.... corruption is been displayed on a regular basis with so much impunity... if not 4 corruption, each and every 1 of the 36 states should be able 2 pay workers salaries conveniently... we leave those that are 2 be blamed and blame the president... it is well. 3 Likes |
