So i got the Tecno L8 phone on Tuesday and i must say that i enjoy every bit of the phone especially the phone's monster battery. The battery is extraordinarily long lasting, given that my last phone battery capacity was 2000mah and I'm a campite (you won't understand except you are a FUNAAB student staying at camp).


Summary of the phone specs

Tecno L8 runs on android 5.1 lollipop out of the box with
Tecno’s
HiOS user interface and powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core process with
MediaTek’s chipset, coupled with a 1GB RAM component
and a 16GB internal memory which is ample for file storage.

* Dual Micro sim card
* Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system
* 1.3 Ghz Quad-core Processor
* 8mp rear camera and 2mp front snapper
* 16GB ROM (Expandable to 64GB) and 1GB RAM
* 3G connectivity
* 5050mah battery capacity
* Accelerometer, Proximity and Compass sensors
Price Range: N29,000 – N34,000 but i got at 30k


The 1gb ram component is obviously a let down for gamers but Tecno did well with the HiOS HiManager in optimizing the phone's ram usage.

None that i know of. You can check bbs.tecno -mobile.com for recent news on tecno products.

For those who are planning to buy the Tecno L8, it's better you buy it in stores (Micro station, 3c Hub, Play, etc) than buying it online.

The price of the phone is higher in online stores.
