Hello House! I noticed some posts earlier jubilating about the steady rise of crude price. Well I certainly don't mean to transform into sea creatures that constantly harp on bad news but we all know the danger posed by the crude price crossing the $50 mark. So... On other matters, what was FBNH corporate action as per dividend? I've been hearing 15K but haven't seen where it was stated officially. |

Morgan Capital can't capitalize on their comparative advantage in terms of their innovative realtime trading. Quality over quantity should be their mode of service. It is very unfortunate... . Why would everyone talking about their poor customer service more than a year and they find it difficult to rectify such till now? Very questionable? |

What some of these stockbrokers have not realised is that there is so much potential that is yet to be unlocked in the Nigerian market. The stockbroker who can tap into this potential by strategic marketing, world class service delivery and innovation (eg creative use of online realtime trading) will make huge gains and help move NSE as a whole to the next level. The future of NSE is in the hands of the stockbrokers to a very large extent. |

Intendy: Fantastic result... despite the harsh economic conditions the company still manage to pull this magnificent performance is very commendable. Many had thought including yours truly that the result would go south judging by the forex squeeze and unfavourable business climate. Expect increase in patronage for the stock next week based on this coupled with the closure of register for 2015 dividend on 9th of may. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Intendy: 9:12pm On Apr 29, 2016 |
I'm sorry to say this but it's the truth. if you have little to no time to monitor or follow information of various companies to make early/informed decision, believe me you'll be caught unawares. you may buy stocks for long term but once they have a dip in their result e.g(wapco, air service)that the market will react to negatively, try just take advantage of the price swing. I'm saying this cause of questions like why is air service and wapco dropping when it's obvious from the result. Not an insult to any of the posters please. Just create more time for yourself.I would have said if their is no time on you hand over your money to an investment manager with a % return but as you know most are rogues. |

Goodmorning house, kindly assist again. Is it proper for first registrars to reject my signature specimen processed by my broker via CSCS on the ground that I did not use a particular unit bought by me through my broker from CSCS or on the floor, but that I quoted the total balance in my account as a unit? So because of this I should re-process another transfer form stating a particular unit bought through my stock broker. I thought processing of transfer form is to validate ones signature specimen, though I may be wrong. I need you advise. 1 Like |

Guys, if you have an Edividend in place for FBNH shares you bought through broker "A", and then you buy FBNH shares again through broker " B", will the same Edividend mandate be automatically applied to your broker "B" shares without you writing to the registrars, bearing in mind that the shareholder's name is same? |

angelo82:No sir, trades on LeadTrader attract a discounted 0.75% broker's commission, as against 1.35% on manual trades. I think Morgan's is still 0.25% |

donmarshia: cadno: soloniger: NO! The answer to the original question is NO, except the CSCS number is the same for both stock brokers but this is hardly ever the case. Each broker will usually open a new account for you if not, there will be confusion. You have to fill an E-Dividend form each time you open a new CSCS Account. The only unique identifier is the CSCS number not your name. We all know there can be a hundred people who bear the same name with you so how do we tell the difference? However, if you have an existing e-dividend mandate on a particular CSCS account with a registrar, all dividends from companies managed under that registrar will be paid using the existing mandate. For example assuming you have an e mandate on CSCS account XYZ for GTB shares with Datamax registrars, and you buy Seplat shares a year later on the same CSCS account XYZ you will not need to fill a new form for the Seplat shares. I am not 100% sure this is the same for all registrars but I believe it should be so. The current First Registrars e dividend form allows you to fill the different CSCS Account numbers you have from different stock brokers on one form. However, after submitting, if you open another new account, you must fill a new form. I am making this assertion with full confidence because I contacted first registrars about this last week. I await the day SEC will introduce something like BVN to link the various CSCS accounts and help solve the complications. I hope I made common sense. Enjoy your Sunday. 2 Likes |
