Am a regular member of this forum but I am in a serious dilemma now.

I leave in a face me and face u apartment which am not in any way comfortable with at all, this apartment have denied me a lot of friends and family as I always hide my house away from them.

I have Been able to save 500k from my work that pays me 70k monthly but while trying to relocate from here to a mini flat that will cost me nothing less than 350k both agency and agreement at Ajah another idea popup that if I can still manage this house for the main time and diversify my income to any other adviceable lucrative business?

NB I have a baby mama and my girl that will be joining me soon as she is presently with her parent.

pls my request now is,should I relocate with the money or I should start a business with it and what kind of business can u suggest sir and ma..
may the Lord be with you and always contribute to your life positively as you do to a fellow brother.

The business option is good, because yr expenses are about to increase, but look before you leap

When you relocate, you will still have to spend a lot more to put that apartment in proper shape. That means you will still need to hide the place for a while. Think about this, if you move in today and you got sacked the following month (possibility), how do you intend to cope considering the fact that you will now be living with your 'babymama' with tendency for increased expenditure? Business, on the other hand 'no be beans'. If u just rush into it, you may end up wasting the money with possibility of debts. Will you even have time for the business with your present job? If you want to go into business, I will recommend well-researched online biz that will not require much of your time. My2cent

You can open a barbing salon,employ someone to work for you while you learn the craft at your spare time.

1... Get a land at least 4 where it is cheap OR
2... Did you know that transport business booms a lot, get a motor, paint it to taxi, give it to a person. Make sure say you do that in a proper way that he no go run with your motor o. Delivery per day
3... Never leave where you are living now o, that's what 70k per month can still do now.

You didn't even bother to know the location of his workplace. What will N500k do around his preferred location?

Or do you expect him to start building in Ogbomoso, while he works in Ajah, just so he becomes a Proud Landlord?

My advice for you @OP is to find a way to double your savings. Take 30% of that amount to get an apartment, put 40% on land or a business, and keep the rest for the upkeep of your family and other emergencies

? and the transport business I did it before and writhing 3 month the Marwa had a serious accident that the rider ran away and d guarantor can do nothing but begging that it even add up police expenses to my neck.ever since then I have vowed not going it no transport
my major reason of this topic is what investment can yields me more profit so as to pack out of this environment

Actually, you can invest in this business without necessarily engaging a business planner, a simple google search would give you nice tips, but there are certain things they'll never put online, or rather, things they do not know.

If you invest like the regular business centres out there, you sure can make a profit of N3000 - N5000 on a daily basis.

2. I don't know much about the profitability of a Barber's Shop, but you can make your findings.

3. You can invest in e-commerce (you can concentrate on Male T-Shirts, or Wristwatch, Wallet, Belts, etc.)

4. You can speak with your baby mama. Is she gainfully employed? Is she involved in any business? May be you can invest some money to fund her business, or something.

Business? With 500k? Taaahh! F it...I say pay the 350k rent, with the rest get a good generator and aircon. You Only Live Once.

Buy a bike and give to a trusted individual to be making returns for you on the ground of hire purchase. If the first one is doing well, you can get another with the remaining money. Try one bike first or go for a tricycle.

My advice for you is to get yourself a toyota naija used and be using it as cab after work and gradually u will get stable client and with this u can then plan to relocate..your business first idea is d best and from the way am seeing it your babymama is not productive Because she should have be the 1 to established while u face your work squarely.if am right on her? Then u have no wife yet.bitter truth

Go in to taxi biz, the fact that the first ran away doesn't mean it will happen again. Back it up with prayer. That's a good business
