Life in school was like living a fantasy!
Now, Note I was not a regular christian, I had so many people looking up to me and the burden was not easy. So I had to have friends of like mind, friends that shared the burden with me. Friends I also shared their burden just as the bible encouraged us to bear each others burden.

Akindeko Moto park was our war zone. If I tell you how we prayed you may find it hard to believe. We could pray for 12 hrours straight NONE STOP. You don't believe me? Ask those who know Baba Ogundare or Pastor Charlse of Dream Center church a spiritual son of Pastor shola Areogun. Speaking in tongues made 99% of our prayers.

I had 3 friends I always prayed with. 2 of them were from deeper life and one from Love Domain. Now this is sort of contradictory. Love Domain don't take doctrines and laws as serious as deeper life members.
The deeper life brothers were only interested in soul winning, but the love domain brother was all about working of miracles and working in the supernatural. He hated our "morning cries".

I remember the day he said we should go to akindeko Mosque (don't know if the mosque is still there) and challenge them just the way elijah challenged the prophets of baal.
His proposal was for us to get a mad man and take to the mosque and ask them to cure the mad man, if they can't then we will cure the man and they will know we serve the true God.

I recall how we kept quiet that midnight (about 3am) only 4 of use in the dark at akindeko Park. Listening for the Holy Spirit to direct us to go ahead or withdraw from this suicide mission.

We have had clashes with the moslims at this mosque because we were very stubborn and radical. We were always disturbing them with our preachings. They almost stabbed one of us at a time.

There was this guy, Alfa Christopher (real name) and Alfa Civil (real nick name) who were are arch enemies then. Alfa civil was very popular in the whole engineering school.

We had to drop the Love Domain brother from our group. The guy was always doing ridiculous things.
Had a lot of spiritual sons and daughters that treated him the way Pastor Adeboye and Co are treated. He was called daddy. He had them serve him all because he is their "daddy in the lord". They paid for his bus fares, they gave hime food etc. He believed that once you are born again, you can never lose your salvation. So we stopped taking him seriously.
So we never did the mad man stunt and he never did it himself after we dropped him from our group.

Now I want to use this guys post to point some things out to the intelligent people here.
1. Notice the words he used all caps for:
-"MR NEW ATHEIST"
-FOOL
Now this is psychology, tho he is doing it subconsciously. He is using the "mr new atheist" tag on me in order to down-size my confidence and make me feel inexperienced or feel I am new so I don't really know what I am saying. Nice tactics there. Always works when preaching. You have to make your target feel they don't know much about life. They have to have little confidence in themselves. This makes it easy for them to listen to the so called "superior" argument you bring.
-he subtly used the word "fool" but he made sure I noticed it by typing it in Caps. This is to further break down my confidence in myself or what I think I know.
Then he finishes with drawing my attention to something that is a threat to me. What lies in wait for me after death. Now this is a very smart move.
Why?
-he feels it would be hard for me to disprove punishment awaiting me after death.
- he is using threats.
- fear of the unknown could make me succumb to his solution (being born again).
These are the essentials.

My God is not under any threat from you or anybody, He is God all by Himself, He doesn't need your approval of Him or your recognition of His sovereignty for Him to be God. i was reading the book of romans recently and i came across this part, in chapter 1 vs 21-22

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools

and also this

2 Timothy 4:3-4 ...'For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.'

This verses opened my eyes to see exactly what is happening. Sadly, we(christians in General) aren't worshipping God they way it should be. Our thinking is becoming futile and our lusts have made us turn away from the truth. We think we are wise whereas we are fools. It's just sad.
I am not surprised many people are disagreeing with you, calling christianity all sorts of names like fairy tales and the like. We are departing and the world is ending

MIRACLES!
Yeah! I mean it miracles were real. They don't happen always, but they did happen and still happen.
Also most of the gift of the spirit (Note GIFT of spirit is different from Fruit of the spirit). So I had the gift of word of knowledge strongly at work in me. I could easily tell people what was going on in their lives. This made me rise very fast in my school fellowship then and I was highly revered.
This gift made me the perfect candidate to anchor revivals and preach during our out reaches (crusades).
I am not good at teaching scripture, tho I was very vast. But I made sure I used my gift at every opportunity. Reason why it was easy for me to have so many converts.
When I preach people end Up rolling on the floor crying.
By the way I was a member of Anglican Student Fellowship. But I was nothing of the typical Anglican. I was a man of the spirit.
I preach with my eyes closed. I hardly open my eyes. I just go on stage and start delivering the word as the spirit lead. I start revealing the problems people are going thru, I start revealing the sins people were commiting in secret and before you know it the whole fellowship is crying . People will be rolling on the floor crying.
How could Bro...... Now end up being an atheist?
