One thing I hate about this gionee m5 is the decision by gionee to put the quick access slide menu at the bottom instead of the normal top. Sometimes you want to slide up to bring the menu and it won't respond. Sometimes when I want to take screenshot, the page I want to snap will move up as I am trying to slide up the menu. At night, the capacitive navigation keys get difficult to use too because it is not lighted. O sometimes find myself having to move about with my fingers just to press the keys.

That's one of the trade marks of the marathon series (lack of back-lit navigation keys) not to worry, you'll get used to it soon. If you'll really facing a challenge, i advice you to use the SUSPENDED BUTTON.

You'll get used to the non lit keys the more you use it.

I like the menu at the bottom. Regarding the screenshot issue, you could just press the power button and volume down button at the same time instead.
I don't even use the option in the menu to take screenshots.

Is this normal at all? See My gionee m5 temperature reading 38 degree and its draining my battery. I have greenify installed but am not sure it's even working. Am using a naija rom.

This is sequel to my last message complaining about my battery draining... After almost 6 hours, I am left with 47 percent battery from 96 it was when I made the earlier post. Please note that the hotspot was turned on about 2 hours ago because am sharing data with my qsat decoder and I have been browsing the Internet and chatting with the phone with network set to 3g only

The next set of screenshots are screenshots of my power management interface and stat. Notice the battery percentage. Between 8:43 when I took the first set of screenshots to 8:55 when I took the next set of screenshots, the battery has dropped 2 percent from 47 to 45 percent... It's 9:02 as I post this message, the battery is currently on 44 percent
