Breaking from ancestral curses or bondage is an individual effort for adults. The starting point is giving your life and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
2. Repent the sins of your ancestors and ask God to forgive and remove you from the curses of your ancestors.
3. Do away with every artifacts/objects that connects you to your ancestors or their objects of idol worship, you need to prayerfully search through your house and the Holy Spirit will lead your heart concerning this.
4. Minister deliverance to yourself or get someone who you are very sure is genuinely of God and have experience in this regard to assist you.
5. Act in faith, do not go back to sins of your ancestors especially worshiping of idols.

WHO GOES TO HEAVEN and WHO GOES TO HELL?

This is the story of 2 men of different and contradictory beliefs. They both live in separate towns next to each other. One is a pastor and the other is a witch doctor.
The pastor heads a small church with about 12-15 members, he has very little followers and the offering coming to the church is little, very little.
The witch doctor who lives in the next town is renowned for his works and widely sought after by people from all walks of life. From corporations to individuals come to him for favors, charms, spell and powers. Managers from various institution come to him for work seeking promotion, protection and other charms while ladies come to him for charms and spells to get a man, even the young men also come to him for powers, the 'yahoo boys', students, armed robbers and others just for protection, powers and charms. The witch doctor is also known for doing money rituals. In fact his followers are much, very much on the high side that even on the street where his house/shrine is, cars are packed and lined up. Some of the cars are gifts while others are cars of those who have come for spiritual help and powers. The witch doctor is known through his town and even the next and so is the pastor known in his town and the next.

The pastor on the other hand is a dedicated man of God who truly believes God and serves Him diligently. He was God by God and have been in the ministry for more than 10 years, the church has been in the same building for more than 10 years also but his members never increase, people are sometimes discouraged from the church because of this and join other churches, if 4 or 5 persons leave, 1 or 2 new converts joins the church. The church has never had over 30 to 40 persons in one service.
The pastor really desires for his church to grow. This causes him great worry that he engaged in 40 days fasting and prayer believing that the Lord will draw people to the church to serve him. The pastor begins to doubt because even the little members he has are leaving the church. Sometimes there could be 6-8 persons for Sunday service with very little offering to pay for the rent, he was faced with challenges that he thought he should seek other means. He has heard stories of the witch doctor in the nearby town and how other pastors come go to him for powers to draw members to their churches, in fact, the church in the next street started a few months earlier and now pulls a large membership. The church has bought the building and the pastor owns a car, everything seems rosy. He opted to go to the witch doctor for same powers.

The witch doctor on the other hand has enjoyed luxury but wasn't happy. He also has heard of the pastor in the nearby town, he knows he is one of the few true men of God around. He wants to get out of his craft, he is tired of serving satan. He always gets nightmares of the rituals he's done, the little children he's used to gain more powers and also powers for others. He is living in torment within him. So he opted to go see the pastor in the nearby town to pray for him and help him to ask God for forgiveness because he knows nothing about being saved. He believes the pastor can lead him to the right path.

He entered one of the cars which was gifted to him by one of his followers and decided to go to the church of the pastor to pray for him. He truly wants to be saved.

The pastor on the other hand is already on his way to see the witch doctor for powers, he wants more followers. He is on the verge of losing his church building and he needs help instantly.

As the witch doctor was on his way, armed robbers were ahead carrying out an operation, this caused chaos that drivers drove recklessly to avoid being robbed or harmed. With the confusion on the highway, the car of the witch doctor was hit from the side and his car fell off the bridge. It burst into flames seconds after it hit the rocky ground.

The pastor also was plying the same route and the car he was in were stopped by the robbers. The deadly armed robbers fired aimlessly and about 4 people were shot in the bus the pastor was in and he was among the 4. He sustained bullet wound to the head and died on the spot.

Both the witch doctor and pastor died same day with about 10 minutes separating their death.

Now the question is WHO GOES TO HEAVEN and WHO GOES TO HELL, the pastor who has already decided in his heart to go see the witch doctor or the witch doctor who already regrets in his heart and decides to go see the pastor to pray for him so he can be saved?


Hell is no place I wish my enemy to go. Please if you are reading this and not saved, not born again. This minute I want you to ask JESUS to come into your life as your LORD and SAVIOR. For JESUS says I am the way, the truth and the life, no one cometh to the Father but by me. JOHN 14:6. Ask HIM to clean you from your sins, surrender everything to HIM. After you are born again, feed on the bible and you will grow spiritually.

If not the above, the witch doctor, even though he has forsook his evil way, he is yet to confess is sin to God.

The Pastor, even though was determined to do evil, was taken away before the evil day.

Grace is available for that Pastor to make it to heaven, God is not looking for a cause so as to cast us away, infact the Pastor's death can be described as God allowing satan to destroy his body so as to save his soul.

1Corinthians 5:5
hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.

Sorry about your brother and some of your loved ones.. In spite of the misfortune, God is still with you and by His grace no one in your family will die young ever again.
I love your stance in Christ. It's really inspiring and it shows a sign of spiritual maturity.


You have been marked for greatness and the mercy of God overshadows you.


The revelation you saw is an eye opener for you to realize that God intends for us to be holy.


Holiness in God's eyes is simply Pleasing Him by accepting His Son Jesus Christ and abiding in Him (doing His will).... Living a life that reflects the character of God.


Though we are not perfect but God counts it for us as righteousness when we do good deeds that please Him.

Remember Abraham pleased God by trusting in Him and God credited it to him as righteousness (holiness).. Genesis 15 vs 6.


I once had a revelation where I was a spectator in heaven. I was taken to heaven and I saw Abraham, God and one other person(I didn't recognize this person).
The person was questioning God asking that why did God say Abraham was the father of faith even when Abraham doubted Him at certain points in his life.. God simply replied that He looked past Abraham's doubts and credited his faith as righteousness.


God is merciful and gracious. Holiness (righteousness) is derived from His mercies and grace, not by our works or efforts but by His love, kindness, grace and mercy. That if we believe in Him, in His Son Jesus Christ, doing His will and abiding in Him, even when we are weak, He is there to carry us for He is the source of our strength.



Like you said, let us preach God's word.. But more importantly, let us live our lives reflecting the character of Jesus Christ and doing His will.

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife’s divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed -dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push through with the divorce.— At least, in the eyes of our son—- I’m a loving husband….

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.

So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don’t share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage. Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Remember love is the richest of all treasures. Without it there is nothing; and with it there is everything. Love never perishes , even if the bones of a lover are ground fine like powder. Just as the perfume of sandalwood does not leave it, even if it is completely ground up, similarly the basis of love is the soul, and it is indestructible and therefore eternal. Beauty can be destroyed , but not love.

Hey guys I want to share a dream I really don't understand it. it's quite scary and I think have forgotten most of it cause it been long... CharlyG1 I need your interpretation.
A man maybe a man of God alway preaching to people mostly in rural area some gave there life to Christ while some didn't. So he moved to a place with less habitat. I could see him where mountain with less human habitat. He was exhausted physically but still strong spiritual. After I saw a nephilum gaint kinda look like a man blocked his path...The gaint looks scary. He was looking directly at his eye with hatred and evil. I was scared ooo...
He should be around 12ft tall with long teeth and plain with eye, very ugly... I think he was about to attack this man.. Immediately a much bigger gaint looking strong jumped out the river and stood close to the man of God.... The 2nd gaint was very tall really tall.... As the evil giant saw the bigger giant he ran away. So The bigger gaint ran after the evil gaint and chase it Farr far away... I stood and was watching with fear over me.... So the bigger gaint came back and jumped back to the river..... I woke and I thinked I prayed

my thoughts on this dream.

I have seen it dear. Satan is a loser.
But i like this sonoflucifer guy in that, he knows who he is and has accepted his fate. He knows that He will burn in Hellfire. He has non idea of what awaits him.
