Really? How did this eye witness, or anyone else at the scene conclude this RTA was due to alcohol intoxication? Were the victims, the driver of the sedan in particular breathalyzed? This seems to be an automatic conclusion in Nigerian-reported RTA's.

And you are still in the Stone Age if you decide to publish what eye witnesses tell you with regards to the driver of this car in question being intoxicated by alcohol. Did you ask yourself how they worked that out? You simply deputed it as fact.

A good reporter, professional or otherwise learns to query their sources before printing. If I told you Obasanjo was a raving homoséxual, you would simply accept it without question, huh?

How about the other blunders you made - did the eye witnesses do your write-up on Nairaland as well?
