Then when his form improved actually improved early this year, you revised your theory saying that we were now creating chances for him. Rashford a 18 year old who has never played professional football came and used those same few chances we created and scored goals and that's why Rooney is failing to displace him currently. Our play through the middle was very conservative today maybe due to Leceister's midfield as you stated. Is a midfield of Kante and Drinkwater supposed to be better than our's? Our midfield deserves limited credit because they had to play so conservative to contain an ordinary Leceister's midfield and that's why they created so few through chances for Rashford.

Sir Alex Ferguson said Kante is EPL best player this season. Drinkwater has been one of the outstabding players this season. It's not just the Leceister's midfield, but what they do to oppositions once ball get out of their defence area. Their midfield and wingers are known for carrying the ball swiftly to the opposition box. They are very effective. Our guys did well against them. Rooney positioning helped.

On the other issue, we actually were not creating enough chances in the beginning of the season. Even Rashford has not matched Rooney's record of his last 8 matches before his injury.

I have always said City and Arsenal would drop points but it was gonna be useless because we would drop more points than them and fail to gain on them.

Finishing out of the top presents the biggest chance of LVG getting fired and i'm willing to bet on that.

Where were you when Januzaj was on loan? He probably would have cemented a spot on the right wing if he had stayed and he's injured right now.

Also, his move always start from the deep position which is different from a 3-man midfield!
Herrera had 5 assists as a no 10 at Bilbao, compare the difference!

if I remember correctly Herrera's pass that caused commotion between two defenders & forced Schmeichel to clear before Memphis could pounce was our first true attempt through the middle from midfield... If you saw the game of course...

Real madrid would most likely knock city out CL and end their hopes in Europe. City would be back to reality and would take the PL more seriously to ensure top 4. The best Arsenal would get from that match would be a draw and it's not gonna be enough for us.
