Yea, the burglary proof you install when building to budget. I'll try and show you one of the furnished apartment, I didn't even see the burglar proof again.

One of those areas where we need to get our priorities right in a build-to-budget projects.

1" light pipe is N900 and you'll require 10 lengths at 150mm spacing in every 3m panel. That's just 9k. The frames and electrodes maybe another 9k.

Welder shouldn't take more than 4k per panel for welding and painting.

Thick pipe is 1300 per 18ft length but not good for outdoor installations. It rust quickly.

Now when you're doing more than 20 panels, there should be economic of scale. 1 gallon of paint can paint almost everything. 2 packets of electrodes etc. That's the area you make more savings.

I see. I'd rather leave this version of fence to Dangote . His quote self is not negotiable. By that, i mean, why should i when i can just fence for 811k. There is no way i can negotiate from 1.791k to less than a million. The gap is damn it.

I dey feel you, I wish we never have to need them,I live in a country where we have more guns in one city than the whole of Nigeria but we never needed those proofs.

The rooms were well lighted by way of natural lighting at daytime

The main house sits higher on my project in all of the living areas do it won't be an issue

It's just a personal preference thing for me.

I'm going to be running cables through it which means weakening it a bit.

Lower Windows have different applications in different builds.

One of the most lovely view on my chateau is the kitchen glass block window which is 1/2 block from natural ground level. The reflection of lights from the kitchen dry area into the flower trough at night is very lovely. It's just about the right amount of light required which was later supported with solar garden lights.

The same thing applies to the Windows at the porch which takes cue from TV reflections in the main lounge.

These things have functions.

Ok cool but if you was living in the west that wont be approved, unless you get laminated glass .but I get the idea,we def need more natural light and ventilation.
But regards the burglary proof, what do you think if we invest that money into toughened glass?

Guys I have a quagmire.

It's getting time for my padlock chicken coop to get adorned with windows.

I'm thinking of doing the embedded security bar thing but it's keeping me awake at night as I can't in good faith our non removable steel bars on the Windows thereby trapping residents.

I know we discussed this in passing many pages ago but have anyone visited this issue recently?

The best idea I have is the sliding accordion looking one.

Any thoughts.

I know. That's why I drag babalose into this. There's a plan to build something like an infinity pool from his main lounge to the perimeter wall. What this mean is that we need a clear (unobstructed 2.4m high by 6m wide glass) glass from the main lounge overlooking the pool.
The bill of the glass is even more than the pool.

Some cool ideas are flowing but the cost implication is an overkill especially on item like glass. Though we are exploring other options atm. 3M Window Film is also a cool option but my guys want something more secure than that.
