City, especially their attackers(De Bryunce and Aguero), were piss poor today. Otamendi was very good though. |

chrisley024:How about the Dortmund game where he looked awful? Although like you said, you only want to discuss his league performance but need I remind you that Fuch, despite having an average player on the wing to linkup with, has been the one keeping that left side lively for Leicester. Also, he has had almost twice of Rose's interception and had more tackles. Hence, you can't say he's not been exposed. As a matter of fact, Leicester has mostly depended on Fusch to not only keep the left side impenetrable but also, threatening as opposed to Rose who had Eriksen to linkup with nd overlap than say Marc abrighton. |

chrisley024:I don't get Debruyne hype by the way. No doubt he has a good vision and the nack for scoring the unspectacular but his technique under pressure and ability to create space for himself in crowded area are awful. Also, his playmaking ability is average at best. His best position would always be on the wing but then his average pace and dribbling skill makes him a liability against tight defence. I think he's more suited to a counter attacking setup where he would be afforded the space to operate. 1 Like |

tess1:You never made mention of whether it was in the legue or his team! That was why I asked you if the stat was in comparism with others in the la liga or in his team but then you were going roundabout! I mentioned Messi due to the question I asked you by the way. That said, for a player who creates 1.6 keypasses per game in the no 10 role, that's so awful. |

iPopAlomo:Liverpool is actually a joke as far as the EPL is concerned right now. Were we talking about Liverpool? A competition was created in 1992, you've won 3 since then, that's the point here, but I see you have nothing to say to defend such average record anyway. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 11:07pm On May 04, 2016 |
elampiro:Out of about 10-15 long passes Rooney makes per game, only 1-2 slices the opposition open as opposed to the ginger master, Scholes long passes which are always delivered to the winger in acres of spaces. The truth is Rooney long ball are mostly predictable and only his fanbois would say otherwise. |

City missed David Silva by the way. Eventhough he hasn't been at his best this season, he's still City's best playmaker who orchestrate their play both in the midfield and the final third. He was magnificent against Psg by the way. His vision, quick speed of thought and close control under pressure are one of the best. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 11:28pm On May 04, 2016 |
Kagawa10: There is no difference between Rooney's long balls from what we used to get from Scholes. The difference between the two is short passes, mostly because Scholes uses both feet. Scholes also had 80% of his long passes predictable. Once in a while you get the ones that cut defence open. Just like Rooney used to pick Van Persie. The qualify of the attacking players also help the midfielders to give sexy passes. That pass Rooney gave to Valencia, it would have been a wayward pass if it were Darmian. Also, the pass Rooney gave to RVP to score goal of the season 2012/2013, in that title winning match against Villa, would have been wayward pass if it were Welbeck or Ashley Young that had to strike it. Even Chicha would have brought it down before attempting to score. We used to have Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Bervatov, Nani and Giggs in front of Scholes. Their movement and ball control was very useful to Scholes and Carrick. But now we have kids, and Lingard is among the kids. |

elampiro:Don't say that again. I still remembered the moment Scholes tired out in the second half of our league season win in Fergie last reign, Rvp also stopped scoring due to the lack of over the top long passes Scholes do fashioned out to him in the 1st half of that season. |

Kagawa10: Why you dey talk like Olodo? Did you not read that their are over 200 events used in rating? And that where these events take place on the pitch and the outcome determines the marks awarded? Pass accuracy will carry different weights. For instance: Assist might earn a player 0.5 A key pass into the box 0.3 A key pass to a shot from outside the box 0.2 Similarly, a Successful Dribble in a players own half will earn less mark than a Successful Dribble in opposition final third. Successful Dribble inside opposition box will earn higher mark, etc. You might also have highest mark allocated to a Successful Dribble of the last defender. You get negative marking in many things. And they carry different weights: Failed/ UNssuccesful pass in your own box Failed/Unssuccesful pass in opposition half Area of the field a player is dispossessed Error leading to a goal. Goal keep error leading to a goal. Empty net missed Penalty missed Clear cut chance missed Half chance missed Duels lost Etc NB: Distance covered is a subjective stat except you break it down to: Distance covered sprinting Distance covered running Distance covered light running Distance covered jogging Distance covered walking There was a time Carrick covered the most distance in many matches, but when taken down, most part was on light movement. A player like Vardy might not cover much ground, but his sprint time might be highest. Whoscored rating is the most objective, if you look at teams rating, you would see Ronaldo, Messi, always toping their teams rating chart season after season. No rating system can be perfect but whoscored is a good guide. |

Kagawa10: You are a perpetual liar! This was my post where you yourself even embolden Bilbao when you quoted me. Is the word Bilbao not different from La Liga? tess1: You see your life outside when you keep on lying on a public forum. I mentioned Messi due to the question I asked you by the way. As a matter of fact, 1.6 key passes isn't a bad return for him in La Liga considering the fact that only seven players had more than him. And out of those that had more than him, how many were no 10? That is another lesson for you. 1 Like |

Kagawa10, Don't make it look like Paul Scholes was creating chances from midfield. He dictated play from midfield. In chances created chart that season, both long and short, he is no where to be find. Rooney's chances created from short passes was the best when taken to minutes per chance created. Young created the best time per chance from long passes. Paul Scholes was a great midfield, with ability to dictate a game from the middle of the park. But to assume he was creating chances from there is a fallacy. Good night.

tess1:Lol! You can't even comprehend what you posted! You mentioned that "he had the highest throughball in his last season at Bilbao". Tell me then where it was stated that it was in the league or for his team. All you told us is that in his last season at Bilbao, he made the highest throughball. Is it for his team or in the league? We do not know! The statement should have been "he was the one with the highest through ball made in his team in his last stint at Bilbao". And lol at 1.6 keypasses per game isn't bad for a no 10. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 1:07am On May 05, 2016 |
elampiro:Scholes was creating chances with his over the top passes to the forwards from which Rooney only had to lay off. Same way he did to Valencia. Valecia best form even coincided with Scholes's best form or Giggs' when he played in the midfield. And It wasn't a surprise that Rooney and Rvp suddenly became strangers and lacked any cohesion the moment Scholes was out of the team because without Scholes over the top passes, all Rooney could only do is make his stup!d long pass to the wing. Even Fergie had to drop him or put him on the wing to accommodate Welbeck and RVp partnership in the forward role. |

elampiro:Lol at your use of Ronaldo and Messi topping the stat chart of their team when they are the focal players of their team. Also, all you wrote are just conjectures with no basis, you aint their staff by the way and every stat in that site is put there because they are all useful in the rating of players. Why don't you tell us why Rojo had higher rating than Martial in the F.a cup replay match? |

Kagawa10: Take a look at whoscored players ranking for the last four seasons and tell me if they are far from the truth. This is just first 10 players in the first page. Their are 300 pages capturing the final ranking of all players in a league based on accumulation of their weekly matches ratings.

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 2:24am On May 05, 2016 |
Kagawa10: Scholes started only 8 matches. We lost two of those matches. We won 28 matches that season, and Scholes only started 6 of them. So your story up there is lies, rubbish and nonsense. Secondly, it is obvious you don't know what it means to create a chance. I showed you a chart of chances created yet you still argue. Thirdly, Rooney's best form was the second half of the season. I think between January and April where he scored almost all his goals and got his Assists. Lastly, Rooney was only dropped in one match. That was tactical, and also because Rooney protected playing in the wing in the first leg. In another match after the league had been won, he took permision. |
