I believe the beam you saw (that makes you think so) is the western hemisphere beam which has "nothing",I mean "nothing".No interesting channels at all except some useless islamic/muslim channels.The channels you should be drolling for are on the global beam (SP24 and the rest) and if you carefully look at the beam and check it's EIRP equivalent on the table,you'll see they were right,so i agree on 2.4m!

i ‘ve 57‘e 24hd since 5months ago @ 67% then wit 3.2m dish but now it drops 2 62% now & sometimes it flunctuates btw 38-55% & z cracking or not showing at all so forget 1.8m 4 57‘e

i check dish size for nigeria at satstar.net, is 210cm and above, for you to get 57e in nigeria but i use my state to find the beam of 57e,you can use your state as reference at satstar.net, thank you.

Some of those things are in accurate. for instance the site claims you can get hotbird 13 with 180cm dish
