Mine heals in a week - tops 2 weeks

I sat in warm water and used my bottle spray to clean up after as much as peeing
I dint sit on stool as I personally don't believe in it
I was also given a numbing spray at the hospital that really helped

dont worry keep breastfeeding her, she will add ok. U check whether she is feeding well sometimes u can do express if u aren't sure...make sure she sleeps well cos it's good for her body...my regards to her

Well said, doc, but a pharmacist, by training, can respond to mild ailments and this is agreed upon worldwide. However, it is not in the jurisdiction to go beyond mild ailments. So going to a pharmacy and getting drug recommended isn't out of place. Depends on what you are getting and what is being treated. Cheers

This is why I don't us like stating names of meds here because people will go the pharmacy and buy it without checking to see first if they are treating the illness or the symptoms of the illness. You may end up treating just the symptoms of that cough or cold but have no idea what caused it in the first place and it will keep coming back. Doctors are not infallible but at least it is a start. God gave Mankind brains and intelligence to develop Modern Medicine. A pharmacist is not a doctor even though they went to med school. Most pharmacists I know actually don't like prescribing medicine sef.

Yes dear, my God came 2 my rescue as d devil wanted 2 put fear in me.
my ds was later tested negative after we went d 2nd time 4 d test. I was opotuned 2 attend a free malaria test that was organised by d state min of health yestday. there an then the test came out negative. even I too tested negative. My ds is healthy, active n full of energy. don't no hw d hosp came up wt d positive result, dou it was a health center. I swear neva 2 enta dat place again.

I know. But the reality is that in Nigeria, a lot of people depend on pharmacists for what a doctor should do. You will hear people meeting pharmacists for even STDs or they won't tell them their medical history and pharmacist will prescribe not knowing their full medical history. A pharmacist prescribed antibiotics for swollen eyes due to teething, and apparently that's an okay call. Malaria is not a mild ailment, in this Nigeria any doctor that tells you malaria in a child isn't mild ailment hates you (I'm speaking from a place of having one of my family who used to one of the leading doctors on malaria research in children in West Africa and they made it clear to me not to joke with medicines or medical help. I am lucky to have access to them when many don't because of our healthcare system. And when I told them about this, they refused to join because they said they hoped we were not playing doctor here). My family members have cried over losing young patients to malaria (the patients were not related to them but theý were pained by the decisions the parents took and the child died).

I think since we are all adults on this thread, it is upto everyone to make a decision on what is best for their child. Me, I'm moving on. There are plenty sabi mamas here. There was also a group on Facebook with doctors which some mums joined, perhaps anyone interested can join them. Take care, ladies
