Chapter 15
Adanna was through with her house chores but wished she wasn't . It has been two weeks since she embarrassed herself in Adam's house. The incident
has been the only thing in her mind these past few days. She worked through everyday feeling numb and wondering how she was going to face Adams
again,for goodness sake she was a married woman why did she have to make a fool of herself. She wondered how she was going to look at her husband when
he returned from his trip. He travelled a day after the incident in Adam's house.

She wondered if her husband was still cheating on her,maybe he even took his lover with him on the trip and here she was killing herself over akiss. Well if Samuel can cheat then she can also cheat,she said to herself and then bursted into tears. She had no idea why she was crying but she just needed to let the tears flow, she felt like a fraud,first she is cheating on her husband and secondly her marriage is crumbling and her life
is a disaster, she sobbed more as she thought about herself.

She was still crying when she heard the doorbell rang. She hurriedly wiped her eyes with the back of her hands and straightened up, shortly after Kylie came into
the sitting room. Adanna ushered her in and got her a pack of juice and some cookies because she had earlier declined to eat food.
"Welcome once again to my home Kylie,you really caught me by surprised"

"I know right,I was in the neighborhood and I said why not just come over here to see you and your hubby,is he around?"

"No he is not,he travelled for a business trip"

"Wow he seems to travel a lot"

"Yes he does,you know he now has a bigger position than before so the travelling came with the promotion" she said

"Wow but I have a friend in your husband's office that they share the same position but doesn't travel much"

"Ehnmmmm,probably because my husband is the one doing the travel" she said hoping that Kylie will believe her lie but she doubted it because even could not understand why he travels that much.

" yes you are right maybe your husband is the best man for the travelling stuff,I bet he is very good at his job and that's why the company is always asking him to travel. I mean who would send their worst staff huh" she said

"So tell me Adanna how long have you guys been married?"

"Well two years now tho by October it will be three,October eighteen to be precised its also our birthday"

"Wow so you guys celebrate your anniversary and birthday on the same day that's marvelous but how long have you known him?"

"Okay,I have known him for over eight years now. I met him when I was a fresher in the university, I got admission when I was eighteen years old"

"That's good you guys were in the same class or what?"

"No,he was two years ahead of me in school,we met when I was celebrating my birthday,I just got into the university and as I turned eighteen I took my girls out and he was also there celebrating his birthday so he asked me and my friends to join his table and that's where our fairy tale started"

"Awwwww its so cute,that means your ninth anniversary is also your third anniversary as a married couple its so romantic. So what's the age difference between you guys sef?"

"He is five years older than me"

"Wow,sorry for prying to much but it's not often you hear such a romantic story you know,so how many kids do you guys have?"

"We don't have any kids"

"Oh my God,have you guys been to the doctor to see what's wrong?"

"Oh no,its not what you think,we re medically my husband is not just ready for kids now"

"What do you mean not ready,are you saying you don't want kids too?"

"Well,I do but at the right time and right now my husband doesn't want any so its just to leave it at that. Why are we even talking about boring old me,common tell me about that your fiancé"

"There is nothing much to tell, he is a business man and he travels a lot but he makes time for me tho,we are nothing like you and Samuel but we are in our own paradise"

" oh really" Adanna said but inside she kept thinking if only Kylie knew her fairy tale husband was just a memory in the past,she wouldn't even talk
about them. They discussed about random things and Kylie even asked for relationship advice from Adanna which she gave freely. They spoke like old friends but not for long because soon Kylie had to go.



Kylie was driving out of banana island laughing at Adanna,so much for fairy tale life huh,she is going to wait for Samuel to return from his next week
meanwhile he will be back today and will spend days with her. Funny how some women think they know about men and relationship when they can't even
keep theirs. At least she gained something from the boring talk she had with Adanna,now that she knows they are no kids even it will even be easier
to push her out of the house at least Samuel won't bring up the excuse of not wanting his kids to go through a divorce. Bravo on her part for going to visit that boring thing,now all she had to do was keep up the feeding
her with ideas while she does the same to Samuel.

Her phone rang breaking into her thoughts, she checked the caller ID to see it was Samuel calling
"Hello baby,how have you been?"

"Am good baby doll,errm am about to board my flight and we will arrive in an hour time,so should I expect you to come pick me from the airport?"

"Sure baby,I will be there, I will even dress up for you"

"Awwwww,I love that and my little man can't wait to see you again,he is even show discomfort just listening to your voice and not able to do what he knows how to do best"

"Hmmm,I like that,I will prepare food specially for him. Do have a safe flight dear"

"Thanks" he replied and she ended the call.

All Adanna could think of was what Kylie said,I mean how will two people who have the same position in the same company have different life styles and work schedules,it just did not did not make sense. She heard the door opened and footsteps of someone walking in,she thought it was Kylie who came back probably because she forgot something and called out

"Hey am at the dinning section come and meet here".

She was shocked to see Adams walked in seconds later
"Hey Ad how have you been?"

"Am fine,sorry I had no idea it was you I thought it was a friend of mine who just left here. So what brings you to my house?" She asked.

Adams did not answer but instead walked towards her while maintaining eye contact with her,when he stood in front of her for a while just staring,he bent his face and kissed her.

Chapter 16


Adams have been trying to get thoughts of Adanna's lips from his head but he couldn't all he could think about is how her lips felt against him. He felt like a fool for rejecting her that day,tho there was a part of him telling him he did the right thing because anybody could see she was not herself that day and she probably wanted to use to vent her anger on what ever was troubling her. He knew she was a married woman but he could not help himself. When couldn't take it anymore he put on some clothes and headed out to her house.

Since he was now a familiar face the gate man did not interrogate him nor followed him inside,so he walked in alone as quiet as he could but he heard her voice calling to him and telling him where she was. He quickly followed her orders and went to the dinning room,on reaching there he saw her standing beside the table staring at him. She spoke to him but he couldn't understand a word she was saying all his brain was telling him was to go for it and kiss her, he walked up to her like a puppet that was being controlled and before he could change his mind,he leaned in and kissed her.

She wasn't responding to kiss at first but he kept on going until she parted her lips slightly and he used that opportunity to kiss her probably and it wasn't long before she started responding and a moan escaped from her.

He was waiting for her to stop him but she wasn't so he deepened the kiss and gradually let his hands to start roaming her body at their own free will. Soon they found a rhythm that seem to please them and continued tearing at each other.When he couldn't take it any longer he lifted her and placed on top the dinning and faced the job of striping them of the clothes.

Adanna knew she should stop him but she just couldn't bring herself to do it,once he placed her on the table everything just seem to happen quickly,their clothes were off as if by magic and he started kissing and nibbling her and then whispering silly nonsense to her.
He slowly started going down trailing her with kisses as he went,from her stomach to slipping his tongue into her navel while his hands were stroking her inner thighs and making her too feel things she never knew was possible to feel.

She was still enjoying what he was doing with his hands when he suddenly lifted her hips and dipped down and covered her,she screamed because she had never felt anything like that and she wasn't expecting it. While he was at work with his mouth he also eased his finger into her and then made it two. He kept on going with a rhythm that drove her wild.

After a while of slow torture he lifted himself and kissed her and she tasted herself and it drove her insanely wild.
He didn't hurru her like her husband instead he took his time to explore her body and by the time they through they were both hit with a climax they had never felt before.

Adanna breathing hard since it wasn't too long her body exploded into ferocious pleasure,she never thought she could experience something like this in her life time but she did. She laid quietly waiting for the guilt to come but it did not,instead the lust to continue what she just felt kept coming back at her and reached out to Adams and pulled him down for a kiss.





Hours later........
Adanna was alone in the house after Adam's had reluctantly left,he did not want to go but she had to force because she did not want any of their hired help to get suspicious and start gossiping. After having her bath she laid down on her bed thinking about the new path her life was taking,she asked herself if she wanted to do that,yes her husband was a cheat but did she also wanted to follow that path,she wondered if Adams really liked her or he just saw her as the nearest harlot he could release into. The fact that she didn't feel any guilt for what happened wasn't helping matters at all. She made up her mind not to do again because she remembered taking her vows to her husband in front of a church and while the husband might not honour his but she will take her vow seriously after all her mother did not raise her to do anything less than to be God fearing.

hmm tanx, so now the couple are committing adultery without remorse. I have dis feeling dat they will drift apart. KEEP IT COMING

Chapter 17
The next couple of weeks seem to run by Adanna as she went out of her way to avoid Adams. She turned herself back into the caring and loving wife she used to be,she did all her chores ferociously like her life depended on it
and on many occasions she contemplated getting a job but the thing was she and Samuel already agreed that she was going to be a full time housewife when they got married and she did not want to bring up the issue of a job again but at the moment she felt so empty and she was desperately looking for something to fill her up,she just needed something that will make her feel useful and not just like a rag tossed aside.

To while away time she started surfing the net and that's when she came across the blogging world. She started visiting different types from the entertainment to political to forums, she got so hooked she started
contemplating about starting her own websites.

Since she could not get a job maybe she could just start blogging at least it will help fill her time whenever she was through with her house chores. With that settled she started to research about blogs and every other thing she needed to know.

Samuel could feel a change in his wife but he could not finger point what exactly it was. For a while his wife has become the woman she used to be,she was sweet,nice and caring and she did not act like the nagging woman
she started to become not too long ago.

She did not quarrel when he came home late neither did she complained when he told her about a new trip he
had to make. It was as if she became an obedient dog which truly he had no problem with.

They had not had sex in a while and it did not seem to bother her which was also fine with him since he found her very boring I mean let's face who will have a woman like Kylie and still go for a log of wood like his wife.

He had been contemplating on divorcing her but with her new behavior he might just keep her around plus her cooking was out of the world so why not just keep her around to satisfy his stomach.

Maybe he could even get her a gift on his way home for being a good girl this past
weeks,his thoughts was broken when a call from his boss came in.




Adams is sitting in a bar trying to get his mind in order but he just can't seem to get thoughts of Adanna out of his mind,he had a wonderful time with her that be was willing to repeat again if she will let him but her actions this past few weeks hasn't given him hope in any way.

She seem to be avoiding him because she rarely picked his calls theses days and when he tries to come over and see her she is always bringing one excuse or
another.

He just did not understand why she was behaving like this because he could tell she had as much funas he did during their encounter so why can't she just let them be,what will happen if she just gave them a trial. He bet
he could make her more happy than that her boring husband can make her feel.

He was tipsy from the alcohol he has been drinking and knows within himself that it was time to call it a night and head home but he could not seem to stand up instead he reached out for his phone and dialled Adanna's number.

Samuel stopped by a jewelry store on his way home and got his wife a beautiful pearl necklace with matching eye rings. When he got home,she served him his dinner as usual and when he was through eating she cleared
the dishes from the tables. He went upstairs and waited for her.

When she was finally through and came up,she quietly went to her side of the bed and laid down. Moments later she felt a cold thing being wrapped around her neck and looked down to find a beautiful necklace,she turned around to see her husband holding the box with also a pair if earrings inside.

She was speechless because she could not remember the last time he got her any present. Just as she was about to thank him her phone rang. She picked it up to discover it was Adams calling she did not want to pick his call in front of her husband but he had already seen the name on her screen

"Hello" she said

"Hi bae" he replied

"Am fine and my husband is also fine"

"I did not ask after him,am only concerned about you babe,common why don't you just give us a try you know am going to treat you right huh,am going to
give you anything you ask in this world" he said

"Awwww thank you for checking up on us. Good night" she said and quickly switched off her phone.

"Who was that ?" Her husband asked

"Ohh it was Adams our next door neighbour that we attended his show case not too long ago just calling to check up on us" she stammered

"At this time of the night?"

"Errrmmm,well you know he is an artist,am sure he was painting and remembered us and just called "

"Yeah,that will make sense. Now come over here and say your thanks to this little man,he has been missing you for a while now" he said as he pulled her closer to him.

Chapter 18

Adams woke up with his head spinning, he always suffer from severe hangover whenever he takes too much alcohol. He forced himself out of his bed and
headed to the bathroom to take a shower, that should do the trick and clear his head a little.

He came down the stairs wearing a Lakers Jersey and basketball shorts and heads straight to the kitchen to have his breakfast. He quickly made himself a toast with scrambled eggs with a cup of tea and washed everything down with a glass of juice. His head felt lighter so he decided to go chill in sitting room and will probably paint later on.

He sat down and turned on his stereo and Chris Brown's song "grass ain't greener" came on,gosh this is one of his favorite songs,he immediately started singing along side and the lyrics just started bringing memory of
Adanna to him and he kept wondering what it was about her that kept attracting him,I mean she was married and never before in his life has he ever wanted to have anything to do with a married woman.

He decided to just forget about her, yeah its going to be hard but at least even Chris Brown said it best when he said the grass ain't greener on the other side. He
just has to stick with his guts and let her be, he will probably just get himself a new girlfriend.

He continued singing as different songs came on
and then suddenly there was knock on the door,he opened the door to see Adanna,he wondered why is it that anytime you want to flee from sin it some how appears in your front

"Hi" he said,

"Hey" she replied

"Come inside" he said as he moved to give her space for her to enter.

He lead her to the sitting room and offered a seat then he went to the kitchen to get her some juice and cookies that he had in his fridge. He handed her everything and went back to the couch he was relaxing on earlier.
He did not know what to say so he just kept quiet and was starring at her.


Adanna could still not figure how she had controlled her legs to Adam's house,like she was angry with him about last night call but she still had not decided how to deal with him about the situation, as she sat in his
house forcing herself to drink his juice and eat his cookies which was delicious by the way,she realized that the angered she thought inside her for him had melted away and she was left like a fool who did not know what to do. He wasn't saying anything just staring at her as if she was an artifact in a museum.

"Your cookies are nice" she heard herself saying

"Thanks,my mum made them and brought them over the last time she came,she owns a catering school in Apapa" he replied

"That's good,I will like to learn how to bake but that will have to wait until I settle things I have been working on"

"Wow that's serious,so what have you been working on?" he asked

"Nothing much,I have just been making research because am thinking of starting my own blog"

"Wow that's big,so when will u start?"

"I really don't know but hopefully anytime soon"

"Okay,so what exactly brought you to my house,I doubt you came to discuss your blog?"

"Errmmm, well the thing is I wanted to talk to you about yesterday,am talking about the call you know, I mean I was with my husband and you were just saying things and it could have led to a errm you know what am trying
to say"

"Yeah,you are right am sorry about that,I was really drunk and did not know what I was saying, I really want to apologized about that"


Adanna don't know what she was expecting but she sure as hell was not expecting him to say he called her because he was drunk,was it that she was
the stupid one who thought she meant more to him.

It wasn't like she wanted to have an affair but she would have felt a lot better knowing she meant more to him. It seems she was just the fool seeing things through rose coloured glasses.

Adams could feel Adanna pulling away,one minute she was all chatty and all that and the next she just became withdrawn. He knows he has earlier
decided to forget her but seeing her across the room from him just brought back a tidal wave of emotions he thought he had locked away.

He wanted to really tell her how he felt but he was scared he would say something that will frighten her and then he will loose her forever. He tried for a few
more minuets to keep the conversation going but she kept replying him with one word or she will just nod her head. It went on for a while and he decided to just keep quiet and just watch what will happen.

Adanna sat still watching Adams from under her lashes,he has stopped talking and was just starring at her in an intense kind of way that seem to frighten and excite her at the same time.

When she could bear it anymore she stood up and told she wanted to leave. He just sat where he was,still
staring at her and then all of a sudden he stands and walks towards her with powerful strides and when he came closed he pulled her towards him and used
his lips to search out hers.

A little part of her kept reminding her of her
promise to remain faithful to her husband but she just could not listen to that voice right now because right here in Adams arms is where she wants to be and she could care less about the consequences of her action.




Samuel is at this office thinking about his wife. Last night was very different from all their encounters, for the first time with his wife he has actually felt like a man who can satisfy his woman. He felt like the way he use to feel back in their university days,maybe their spark has just being reignited.

He wasn't really doing anything in the office so why not
just go back home and see if he could recreate what they did last night. He shut down his computer,clear his table and started to head out of his office. He stopped by a store to get her a teddy bear and started heading
home.

He was just a few blocks from his house when he was called by his assistant that the board of directors just called an emergency meeting and all top officials are to attend at the head quaters,after the call he quickly made a U turn and dashed to the meeting venue.
