ENGRJCJ: Are you on a tourist visa? Why would they require you to have a thousand k dollars before boarding? Do they expect you to spend it in the AiR? I really don't understand why they expect you to have fund on you when no b say dem be immiga (immigration). Show them the $300 you have and tell them you intend to withdraw money for your living expenses while in Aus. I have failed to understand why everthing in naija is done awkwardly and backwardly (if that vocab is in d dictionary). Jah help us. 2 Likes |

Anyone with a current Aus visa and is heading towards Newcastle or Sydney? I will need you to help a brother with a police clearance (report) and to bring it with you while coming here. Your reward will be of course repayment for the police report fees incured. Pick up from airport upon arrival (any day/time of arrival) One week of accommodation in Newcastle area (only one week) Survival skills in Aus. (How to make some side pocket money) Please no time wasters. And i will only reply to the person willing to help. It's a give and take. 5 Likes |

But pls do I need to include their passport photograph, international passport and birth certificate with my own visa application package. Or all I need to do is just to declare them on my visa application " Pls note they will apply for their visa to join me later" @those that have gone through this same process kindly respond. Thank u |

Hi fam, I got a query to make please. I'm currently studying MSc in project management in AU but have an undergraduate in estate management from NIG which is in the SOL. I plan on doing my assessment soon in other to switch from 573 to 189 as I have all the requirements. Have anybody here passed through this kind of transition from 573 to 189/190 because I'm getting mixed response here in AU, some say that my 573 will be cancelled giving citation that I'm not a GTE while some said they know people who successfully pulled the stunt. Thanks for your anticipated response.. |

shinerpoly:Include your wife & daughter as family members and non migrating, whenever they wanna come over it will be easier using Form 919 & other necessary docs like marriage cert, statement of acct etc, you don't have to include their international passport, birth cert & passport photograph since they ain't going with you, the only thing you need is certified copy of your marriage cert. |

@shinerploy please do declare them in your application but i suggest you apply with them. My husband is the main applicant and we all applied with him, we paid OSHC for a family too. Myself and little one don't intend relocating with him now till later in the year. If you can, do apply with them. Still waiting for visa grant, our testimony is loading. shinerpoly: |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by bellong: 10:13am On May 09, 2016 |
Mikey, Once you get a positive assessment from your assessing authority and meet the 60 points requirement, you can apply. Once you submit application, you will be given a bridging visa immediately till the determination of your visa. Nothing stop you from applying, don't mind those saying otherwise. 2 Likes |

mrsoje: @mrsoje thanks a lot for your valuable suggestion. I would have loved them to apply with me right now, but there are few things I must put into consideration. For instance, my daughter is 5 years above which implies I have to enroll her in Australian school and make payment for her enrollment. And that requires additional 5k AUD. Accommodation stuffs also is very important. Some homeowners don't want family in a shared apartment. I will like to settle down for a while before they join me. 1 Like |
