SleekAboki:my question is,... What has been happening to the 13% Niger Delta states received monthly? The same people who loot dem dry is the same people they praise sing. Imagine this fools seeing the late Alameseigha as a good man who was killed by the pressure of the FG. Come on, The billions spent on amnesty what do you have to say about dat. Rather than engaging the govt in a rational discus they blowup pipelines and further pollute the already polluted environment. I can tell you categorically that this Avengers were among those who benefitted from the amnesty bonanza. The very mistake we made was by dialoguing with criminals, criminals should be treated as such and nothing more. Go through the FG revenue sharing formula and see d amount these Niger Delta states get as against other states, yet they want more. I wish I'm the president, I will crush them to pieces. 3 Likes |

CyberWolf:so the govt should assign all our security agents to go police the pipeline? Funny. U'v forgotten that security of lives and property starts with citizens? The citizens also protect basic infrastructures which dey rely on. You blow up pipelines and govt use the money meant to do other more profiting and life changing actions to fix them, who bears the brunt? The citizens do. Keep bombing and keep suffering. |

Buhari should deal with this matter with diplomacy.... It is not every issue that had to be confronted with aggression. ..besides our source of power and gas is connected to the ND region.... In the end it is the masses that bear the brunt |

obailala: Guy, I am not in support of Biafra but I so hate it when people call their demand names! See, it is not by force to remain with a country...after all, it was the British govt that brought this country together. I don't know why u guys have failed to understand that call for self rule is not a crime. It is simple: all they need do is look into this issue and carry out a referendum peacefully. Nigerians should undersstand that agitating for self rule by ipob is not a crime. In a sane country, other citizens from the other regions would even join them in protest to see that a referendum is carried out to know if the demand is popular or not. Must blacks always act like animals? Was Scotland not making same demands over the years? Didn't British govt carry out referendum few years ago to know if the demand was popular or not. If I'm to choose now, I will prefer to be with Nigeria than Biafra. Reasons best known to me. But don't attack their call for their own country, it is not a stupid call and it is not a crime. It is just that we blacks are some how stupid and cruel to our selves! We should also ask our selves: is Nigeria working with the current system of government? After over 50 years of doing same thing and no progress, and we are still doing the same thing! Are we mad? If this is not working, we can try another system of govt. Why can't we just act like civilised people pls? 4 Likes 1 Share |

SleekAboki:I'm from the creeks myself. The riverine area of Ondo state, but I want to ask you if Buhari is the cause of their hardship and if he is, why is not being targeted that all Nigerians will have to be punished for it, with darkness. There are oil installations in places like Akwa-Ibom. Why are those not always showing "our oyel". Why always these Ijaw guys? 2 Likes |

obailala: When the freaking o'l man revoked a pipeline security contract with those guys on his first week in office without properly thinking through the policy, did he not think those boys will see it as act of aggression against them. Why engage in a process that he Buhari does not have a full grasp of? It is now very obvious that our security personel lacks the capacity of safeguarding those pipelines and it was a big failure of leadership capacity for Buhari to stop a seemingly working arrangement without a better alternative. Moreover, you always feel restless & agitated whenever the people of the Southeast express their own opinion on national issues but was never so when Buhari's army opened fire & killed 16 unarmed protesters in Aba & Onitsha. Sheer hypocrisy. 1 Like |

bettercreature:Militancy in this part of the world has nothing to do with the masses. All we are seeing is the handwork of a few hungry and greedy boys who think they can milk something out of the situation. Settle everyone one of them and see how the whole noice will die down abruptly. FG needs to initiate a sound agends that will address the situation in the niger delta. The people there deserve better than what they are getting but no criminal should speak on behalf of the people. |
