Some questions eh! God is a spiritual being. He does not need your money. The ten commandments did not mention tithes. Tithes go to the church. The church will survive without your tithe. Your brother's education will suffer. Think wisely.

No shade to Christains but when some people say you pay your tithes for God's blessing. It begs the question. Is God a money doubler? Give me 100 naira and i will give one million? Or does he need to be bribed? Isnt having a good heart, living a righteous life and loving everyone enough to earn you his love and blessing?? Faith is great and all but it is also God that gave us common sense. I am pretty sure he intended for us to use it.

No, pay tithe, the church will pay your brother's fee as they always pay. Nigerians! will always be religious but not Godly

Last I checked, the riches men in the world don't pay tithe to get richer, they build foundations and give back to the society - one of the secrets of their getting richer - (GIVING)

Wrong

They usually do so to manipulate their tax liabilities

Go figure!!!!

Use your Brain. If you pay your tithe and your brother stays @home and God forbid drops out of school because your parents dont have any money again to give him. While your pastor's kids goes to best schools with best rides and you still trek to church every sunday. Posterity will judge you.Act and make sure your brother is back to school immediately!

Tithe first before any other expenses. This might be your appointed time that the Lord has set for you to breakthrough in your career but alas the devil is at work to steal your breakthrough.

I av bin in this type of shoe before when i was still a bachelor but i am glad i obeyed because the breakthrough i experienced after 24hours of obidience was 10times the tithe i wanted to hold back.

My brother i will advice you tithe first because you can never tell the magnitude of what God has in store for you.

There is no compromise when it comes to tithing.
Asking the question means you have separated your tithe from other expenditure. Remove money from any other expenditure and pay the fee and the faith you exercised in paying your tithe shall be manifested.

pls can u back ur submission up with relevant scriptures?

No, don't give your brother your tithe money. Pay your tithe to the church so the pastor of the church can give his own brother who also has outstanding school fee to pay.

Is something wrong with you or what? If it was your friend who needed help, I would have understood your dilemma. But you're talking about your brother here.

Tithing is about giving to your God a portion of your monthly earning, according to your bible. What best way to give to God than to give to the needy?!

Use your head for the purpose it's meant for!

i just pity you, if God give u 100naira, to return 10naira to him as a way of saying thanks is bad abi? i pray cankerworm dont visit your pocket. even if the bible did not mention about tithe mr sheep and goat, your sense should tell you it is a way of saying Thank you to God. so pastors dont go hungry because they are preachers of the word, they shud eat air abi? mtchewww, selfish thinking

Hebrews 7:5

5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

Hebrew 7 : 12

12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Tithe is no longer necessary in the new testament and that is why Jesus never preached tithe.

Again, the normal church offering I give every Sunday is enough to give my pastor a modest life style. If he intends to live lavishly, build a

university, have fleet of cars, have houses and chains of investment abroad, then other MUMU should finance it via tithe.

this is about the weirdest question i'v seen asked here on nl!!
your brother stays at home, while your tithe wouldn't even make any perceptible difference on the church's account?
sir, the money is more important to your brother

That is how people will continue to perish due to lack of wisdom

Was it not Jesus Christ who healed the man on the day of sabbath when the Jews quoted it is unlawful to heal on the sabbath day?

What is wrong with peeps of today.

I have a couple of questions for you!

1. Are your parents wicked or you're just plain disgusting?

I asked because of your outrageous claim.

2. What is your IQ?

Your brother is out of school and you'll rather pay your tithes. How do you sleep at night?

You love God but you're convinced your parents are set of lying mean pricks.

Go ahead, pay your tithe.
Report your parents to your pastor, they are mean and wicked.
Remember your brother in your prayer. Ask the prayer champion to do same
Fast if you have to. That is the best you could do.
