How can you say "maybe he didn't" then latter say "he did"...He didn't, plain an simple. Even Thorne knew that. It's not even tradition to fight wildlings, it's just that they were a threat to the "realm of men" but now, they are no more.

You might think it minor but its not.

Arthur Dayne wouldn't kill Ned like that. He allowed the Smiling Knight to pick up his sword before he killed him. Kind of goes against his legacy.

It's common knowledge Howland Reed saved his life, and in the original scene Ned did nothing dishonourable. Why are you making a character who died because of his honour appear a dishonourable liar ? He wasn't, why go against the character like this?

You can rewatch the scene. Even Bran was suprised.

I don't get guys questioning ned honor, it's not like the told ree to stab arthur in the back moreover he picked the sword to kill him facing him giving him the honorary human way to killing a knight. more so how do people expect me to tell his young children, he even acknowledge Arthur strength to his children.#team,ned# I started watching GOT cus of him
