Mr Cameron is right. No matter how Mr president wants to justify himself,he should remember that rotten and corrupt ministers have taken over his cabinent e.g amechi, saraki etc. The truth is that until a bill against corruption is passed in the house nothing will change.

The Archbishop was emphatically saying whilst he couldn't vouch for previous Presidents of Nigeria, the "one" in power today (Buhari) isn't corrupt. I think he played an excellent role in that short video clip if you actually watched it.

I agree with you completely. This response from the presidency is too weak and watery. They should have just kept quiet if they know they have nothing meaningful to say. Transparency international did a better job of responding to Cameron's statement.

All in all, we should all support the president's war on corruption, that's the only way to correct the country's battered image globally. Our youths who support corrupt political leaders for political, ethnic and religious reasons should desist forthwith.

PMB should have reminded him that his name was seen in the leaked panama paper. That should have humbled him. Corruption is every where. The hypocrite should not use Nigeria as an example.
That is also Good for PMB. He has spent one year in office fighting corruption and no one has been indicted or have face The law squarely. There are evident that these people are corrupt why are they still gallivanting in public. Send them to jail that is when he can say that he is fighting corruption. Look at china. The country has jail a couple of corrupt high officials with a space of 5months. Here everyday we keep going to court and adjourning case that already have enough evident to bring the culprit to justice. PMB should be serious o

Thank the almighty that Jonathan is no longer our president; I could just see the shoeless president reaching out to Cameron to apologize.
But we thank God for a real leader, who knows his responsibilities and has the skills to effectively handle these responsibilities.

support one-sided fight against corruption?

What happened to those who padded our budget?

Did rat ate up the petitions written to EFCC about how amaechi and fashola stole their state blind?

What killed timipreye silver's case at EFCC?

When will buhari and his EFCC lap dog probe source of his campaign funds from states that were owning civil servants at that time?

Till your hypocritical buhari answer these simple question don't expect us to take him serious.

Well, as I see it, any past PDP leader who jumps ship with bank full of "chop I chop" money and enters APC is automatically not corrupt. So all those in Bubus party are new creations in Buhari, old things have passed away, behold all things are made new. But those that stood to contest and fight in the name of PDP? They are corrupt!

What about the President having corrupt persons in his cabinet as super ministers or the President having highly corrupt persons as his supporters, do you think the British government is not aware of that, the President used stolen money to fund his campaign and the whole world is aware of that, Cameron is right in his statement, this has nothing to do with Nigerian youths, you use stolen money to fund your campaign and you come out to say you're fighting corruption, that means you are fantastically corrupt.

The Presidency can not fool us with the weak response.

And for your information what Nigerian youths what is fairness in the fight against corruption, not just a one sided fight, it either you persecute everybody that has stolen or you don't at all, a lot of corrupt government officials are still dinning with the President.

Above quote caught my attention. Not sure the Archbishop specifically mentioned Buhari or Nigeria in the video but assuming it's true it only means as much as our president is single out from us in this highly embarrassing remark, he is fine with it. Says a lot about his love for Nigerians. To him every Nigerian is corrupt except him. Not fair. Not true.

He specifically said "the current president".

the PR men of buhari dont really know their jobs. the funny thing is that, why is buhari always addressing highly important issues like dis thru garba shehu and femi adesina. the best way to address public misconception is addressing it directly. Buhari shuld reduce d rate @which he address sensitive matter of d nation via garba shehu & femi adesina
