President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday expressed the commitment of his administration to lifting Nigerians out of poverty, describing employment as “the quickest way to escape poverty.” President Buhari with R-L: Speaker Katsina State House of Assembly Alhaji Aliyu Sabiu, Deputy Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, Governor of Katsina Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari and Secretary to Katsina State Government Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa as President Buhari participates at a Meeting with Katsina Elder Statesmen at the Presidential Lodge, Katsina State on 9th May 2016 The President spoke while declaring open the Katsina Economic and Investment Summit, organized by the state government in partnership with Vanguard Newspapers.

According to him: “Employment is the quickest way to escape poverty. And we must lift our people out of poverty. But for this laudable transformation to occur, every player must do his best, including the Federal Government, but in particular, the people and government of Katsina State. For global players, some of whom I am pleased to see represented here, to take the deep plunge, they must be offered attractive incentives. The Katsina State Government appears to make “I can’t refuse” offers to investors through a liberal set of tax incentives, infrastructural support, faster and shorter government responses to business requests.” He said it was only through massive provision of employment opportunities that all tiers of government could reduce the level of poverty among the people. President Buhari commended Governor Aminu Masari for offering attractive incentives to local and foreign investors who would subsequently provide employment opportunities to the people of the state.

Sir i believe you can make it with God's assistance. Unlike the people who call themselves patriotic citizens but still doesn't believe that Nigeria will be great under you, rather they give prophesy of Doom which they know the prophesy when fulfilled will affect their families and themselves

Stop fighting corruption and build up our institutions. We love corruption dearly. Unless you have a alternative leave our corruption alone already.

APC corrupt entities after all wine and dine with you!

It takes adequate planning to make that happen. A character that your government obviously lacks. Nigeria is one of the most difficult countries to do business and nothing has been done to improve the ease of doing business in the country. Nigeria with her huge population and God given resources should be a magnet for investments, but the infrastructural deficits is a turn off for many investors. Lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty will remain a mere wish without the a sustainable plan geared towards addressing the infrastructural challenge.

Don't mind them. All international trips and advice from experts did not get to Buhari's brains. Nigerians are enjoying his promises. THE POINT IS: Buhari has no plan for Nigeria period
