Dufuna Canoe is a canoe discovered in 1987 by a Fulani cattle herdsman a few kilometers from the village of Dufuna in the Fune Local Government Area, not far from the Komadugu Gana River, in Yobe State Nigeria. Radiocarbon dating of a sample of charcoal found near the site dates the canoe at 8500 to 8000 years old, linking the site to Lake Mega Chad.
It is the oldest boat to be discovered in Africa, and the second oldest known worldwide. The canoe is currently in Damaturu the state capital

What's the name of the Fulani herdsman? I think he deserved some credit as well.

.

Evidences such as this one point to the existence of life before the 2000 year old and 1500 year old individuals who respectively prescribed a gold laden heaven street and 72 virgins per person paradise which Nigerians have dumbed down their God given intelligence to get to and consequently refused to make the present get better because their ‘home’ is up there grin.

.

Oh and they’ve also taken the Jewish/Arab creation story as facts when evidences such as this says otherwise.

.

8000 years old? What year are we in? I know the world didn't start when Jesus came into this world, but wow.

Well, this is little compared to what the scientists say. You'll be hearing "Crocodiles have been on top of their game for the past 2 million years."

I thought that the Fulanis were the archaeologists who excavated it but alas it is fake news to polish the rotten image of the murderers.

Further efforts and collaboration between Archeologists from both Nigerian and German Universities finally resulted in the successful excavation of the canoe from the ground in March 1998.
