Among every 12 there is a Judas abi?

Among every 12 Nigerian christians, 7 are tithe hustlers

Among every 12 Nigerian pastors, 13 are tithe hustlers.

Yet you are here talking about bad eggs. Menn, you have as much rotten eggs in the basket as good ones. Better go and educate your brothers in christ.
still the same thing, does the bible encourage it ? Keep on searching the internet, search very well, you may find christianity weak point. That will ease your fear, if christianity is true or false.

I have taken time to study the minds of folks in this forum, and i have come to the conclusion that some folks are not worth the trouble, and you Logicboy are one of such individuals, so i can't bother with your illogical opinions. So you see, whatever you say doesn't matter to me.

Interesting opinion you have there!

However, shouldnt this thread be testament to why you are wrong? How many people share your opinion? Also, are you a qualified psychologist to be studying and analysing the minds of nairalanders?

There is tithing in the bible, isnt there?

Even though, I'm sure that the tithing in the bible is different from what we have today.

You must be so special. I was only asking questions to point out how your ad hominems against me were wrong.

At least, I believe myself to be sane enough not to be shouting "islamic terrorism" "taquiyah" "ped, ophile prophet" and engaging in other islamophobic diatribes every day on nairaland while ignoring flaws in my own religion.

I discuss science fiction, movies, philosophy and many other things outside religion.

Cheers

Can you imagine your christian brothers telling their fellow christian to pay tithe instead of paying his brother's school feels? And you wonder why people leave christianity to become irreligious

https://www.nairaland.com/3096665/should-pay-tithe-pay-brothers

Tithing is a controversial issue in Christianity. Some Christians tithe while some do not. As for me, I tithe but it is only when I can afford it. I know that some churches try to force tithings and donations out of their members but the truth is that real churches of God do not force the tithing on their members.

I think what you said is quite fair. Churches shouldn't force tithes out of members. That is all good but we are in Nigeria where most churches look for every avenue to squeeze money out of their members. Imagine that some people are content with saying that a christian brother should pay tithe instead of paying his younger brother's school fees?

I tell them that I'm a muslim. It works well cheesy

If the christians need your tithes, they will tell you that any sin can be forgiven....even your blasphemy. They will first ask you to explain your blasphemy in detail.....

I saw the thread and I felt bad. How can a christian toy with someone's future just because of tithes? Do they want the younger brother to be an illiterate?

the brother is not wrong. What I really mean is that churches force tithe to those who don't understand the scripture, those who do All what their pastor ask them to do withoutt questioning.

Hello dear, weldone for taking out time to respond to this reprobate, am passed paying them attention. I happen to attend a church teaches you the Biblical Principles which actually makes Christianity work, and Tithing being one of them. But they don't linger or insist on it. One thing my pastor keep insisting on is, do not grudgingly bring anything, be it money or otherwise to God, otherwise, it will be loss on you. And giving is not in the amount, its in the attitude.
When these people hear Tithe, they just assume its must be big money, your Tithe can even be 200naira every month.
Am faithful in my tithe paying, and am seeing how it works.
On this forum, i don't banter with folks who talk Tithe.
enof said dear. Godbless.

Did you really have to call him a reprobate? Is your attitude any better? At least, he is addressing something that he found wrong. I believe we Christians are failing if we still have people saying that it is okay to tithe over paying your brother's school fees. The truth is the truth whether it comes from an atheist or christian.

Oh i see, you are the kind of Christian who calls a Spade a gardening tool instead of a Spade.
Guy calling him a reprobate is putting it mildly, he is an atheists, a satanist, a fool according to the Scriptures. He stands here every chance he gets to revile God and His teachings, and am to pad him up. you go ahead.
Listen man, I AM NOT A NICOLIATAN CHRISTIAN, i don't patronize.
You can see error and pad it, forgetting satan is couching, targeting a prey amongst Gods sheep. Do you know how souls these people have caused to Fall out of Faith? For taking his side against the Body of Christ, you shall account.
Am sorry. Forget i mentioned you.

Am surprised you cant see its a ploy to malign the Faith. Shouldn't you be smart enough to ask yourself, what happened to the 90% left?
why should his brother's school fees come from the 10% which is not his own? Tithe doesn't belong to you. You cant steal what belongs to you, and God says if you don't PAY it, you are a thief.
Open your eyes and see the trick of satan. No christian who knows the Principle of Tithing will raise this matter here.
Plissss. i have said enough. I didn't want to come into this in the first place. I thought you made sense thats why i hailed you, but you turned on me.

Five proof for the atheist that God is real was just trending on NL. Ahh..... It's good thread like that comes in a while; at least one can truly know the mind of the populace...

Some comments there were pretty bleeped up tho....

But one major thing I noticed was that people referred to the God of the Gaps argument a lot.

For others well, it was an exercise to throw out choice words and indoctinated words...

But it was intresting,.. I'm looking forward to a reply from someone on NL. The person should tag me o!
