u mistake soweto for something else. Soweto is a well planned townships with malls and like i said all the basic amenities. It also has baragwanath which is the biggest hospital in africa. All those shacks u see are not soweto.

Besides that, let them leave their currency to float and see whether they can remain at the top. Both these countries have a tight control over their currency, they peg their currency. for an example, Naira has been pegged to N200 to the $1, but in the parallel market its N320=$1, Egypt have also done the same, egyptian pound has been pegged at 8.85 =$1. South africa is the only country on the continent which keeps its currency float, this makes south africa to be globally competative and use their currency as a shock absorber, the rest are just an artificial economies, they cannot compete with south african economy in all spheres.

The so called 3rd biggest economy in africa still controls 80% of africa stork exchange, still has the biggest middle class, still has the biggest budget in the entire continent, is still the biggest investor in the entire continent, still produces 60% of electricity power of the entire continent.

I like your ideas, but Nigeria really has to invest in human capital development to be competitive at all. A lot of Nigerians feel they are doing you a favour even though you are the one paying exhorbitant prices for their services. They have no sense of customer care, and they don't understand the simple notion of impressing customers to make them return for further purchases. They rather think of now and here, which is why it's easy for them to cheat their customers without remorse. There's a lot business people can learn from the Hausa Bureau De change guys in Oja Alade / Allen Avenue. They treat you nicely, are honest and want you to come back.

Doing business in Nigeria is among the worst experience in the world. Government bottlenecks and duplication of offices and taxes are among other menaces that have to be dealt with for us to be internationally competitive.

A 9 year old is taken care off, by deir government. Free education, health and protection. Even get a social grant and an rdp house for de family, de old who cant take care of demselves get de same. If a person is realy poor, der r even homless shelters. De only street kids u find, r those kids who have run away from home becoz of being naughty and do not want descipline, and dey still even leave good and have real means of making sure dey never sleep hungry. Guys plzz lets stop deceiving our selves, naija is pure shit from de s. I guarantee u dat de only reason we have higher gdp is dat we r more populated dan ever. We keep having kids we cant take care off, and keep marrying and being housewives to stupid man, who we depend on so much, instead of being compatitive women like in south africa, woman who actualt marry wen dey r ready and have deir own wealth, instead of treating marriage as if its a profession. Naija shud learn to develop deir own home, and do self development as well. The only thing we have going, is oil, and our men, just becoz dey have nice bodies, but ulgy faces and cant perfom well sexualy, coz dey think missionary is de only thing life has to offer, and apart from being shit abusers, dey rape people, just becoz dey have spent small change for dem, and even rape small girls, who dey have forced to child labour in deir homes, and who deir wives bit. And child labour is actualy a serious crime in other countries. Nigeria has nothing, compared to de poorest village in south africa. If u dnt believe me, spend time in both countries and compare. Y do u think south africa is so swamped wit foreigners de way america is. Guys, SA is de America of Africa, nomatter how many children we born, just to make our gdp bigger, coz its only bigger bcoz we r over pupulated, compare percentages of wealth and good lives in SA, and compare ours.
