Ive got a 5 bedroom bungalow and it needs an electrical work. However, as i am not residing in Nigeria, a friend of mine who happens to be an electrician gave me this quotation but i am really not buying into this cus before i left nigeria he was an accounting student of polytechnic ibadan.

Here is the quotation he gave me for all the electrical components inside a 5-bedroom bungalow all ensuite.


1.5mm#3600@10 roll (36000),2.5mm#5700@30roll(171,000),denmi switch#600@5(3000),1gang switch#200@10(2000),2gang switch#400@10(4000),socket13/15 am #400@20(8000),cut out 100am#1700@2(3400),securirty light#1800@5(9000),pvc bulb#700@11(7700),wall brocket#400@13(5200),screw $both#(5000),regclin#250@20(5000)...................Total(259300)

Anyway, my question is ; with this above quotation, Is he really into an electrical job or just kinda try his luck due to financial circumstances? He told me he's got some certification for electrical installations and blabla from the federal government or so.
Kindly help as this is almost the last aspect of this building completion.

Before anything, 4mm cable is missing from the above quote and this cable is for cooker unit, AC and water heater. The quantity 2.5mm cable quoted for is much. Is he using 2.5mm cable for AC, cooker and water heater? I don't knw the make of cable he quoted for but I believe the price of nigeria cable(coleman, Nigerchin and kabelmetal) has gone up recently.

On the electrical light, switches and socket, we have light in the market. He quoted for the cheapest light in market(low grade one)
