I aplogise for the misleading topic. First of, I used it because I noticed Imsu students on this forum don't like identifying with the school. So the only way to draw your attention would be to use a click bait. Thank you.

The purpose for this thread is to create an online movement, that is targeted towards ending the strike. This strike has been on for roughly two months now. This is very bad. Especially affected is the level hundred students who are yet to write a single exam paper. I am still in school, and from the information I gathered so far, the lecturers are being owed April salaries only.

Since the ASUU, imsu chapter has refused to budge and Rochas is still balling. Let's do the little protest we can online. Let's create an awareness. If Rochas still doesn't do something, his political repute would be smeared. Alumni students should please join us...

*Clears throat*...Nwa Imsu, well I am also an Imo Star!...online protest wldn't play a role either. The controversy behind this strike is becoming annoying and confusing as I dn't know whom to side or believe again! angry

I think the government is to blame. When we went for a peaceful protest yesterday in front of the government house. We demanded to see the government officials, they didn't attend to us. Instead the asst commisioner of police ordered that we should be tear gassed. Uche Nwosu was around when this happened. Rochas is playing with us.

The act is despicable. Ion know bout' Mafian, but I know Rochas has lost whatever political goodwill he has. Thing is, he is doing very good with covering up his failures. I don't know how he does it, but the Imo state media wipes his a.ss.

You had better say: Owerri media wipes Rochas a.as.
Because for Owerri media and for Rochas, Imo state hardly exists anywhere again outside Owerri. In the last two and half years, who has seen Rochas on any development project outside Owerri?
if that Owerri media is truly Imo state media, they should have cried foul over the possibility of flood making St. Joseph Catholic Church Orlu collapsing on worshippers;

because Owelle blatantly refused to complete a gutter started by his predecessor for drainage in Orlu. But the same media cry for flyovers in Owerri, even where roundabout could have been okay.

Dear Imsu students,
About 6 months ago, your Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha unveiled the supposed biggest statue of Jesus in Africa. You all cheered and clapped and celebrated, of course Jesus is in town, what you didn't know is that that statue gulped money that can be used as palliative to end this strike of 2 months and counting. Eku strike o, Let's celebrate Jesus more.
