The witch hazel pads re something like the attached pics. U put it on ur regular sanitary pad and wear. If you don't find it, ask for the spray. You spray it on ur pad and wear. It will reduce postpartum vjay irritation.

For the spray bottle, u can improvise. Get any plastic bottle, open a hole at d top and each time u finish urinating, spray the area smiley

You can ask pharmacy or cosmetic shops for the witch hazel.

Beans happen to be one of dh and mine favourite meal. I always prepared it with plantain and that was mostly my meal when I was pregnant, I didn't experience Oka. My baby was ok. What you should understand is that different traditions have their acceptable foods. For example, majority of northerners can't stay without potash, I cook almost all my meals with potash it was much later in my pregnancy when I joined this thread that I got to know it was bad in pregnancy but I didn't stop cos I was soo used to it. All our soup's need potash, danwake also needs potash etc.
For cold water, even during the raining season I took very chilled water

dear mummies, abeg make una helep me ooo. Ive doing great since after first trimester sickness not until wednesday nite when i resumed back on anc routine drugs. the following day been thursday i fell sick again, restlessness, sleepless night, body pain and cough. I had to stop d drugs yesterday hoping to be better today but no improvement. DH went for a burial, i no even get strength to go to d hospital. im 26weeks pregnant. plz have anyone experienced this? doctprs in d house wat could be wrong?

Your routine drugs can't be the reason why you are feeling this way.Have you treated malaria since you became pregnant?

Eminya..u r quite ryt..bt all d warning is to prevent sum avoidable issues...u knw body differs..so its gud to avoid sum tins in first trimester.i drink cold water for my first preg nd my boy is ok..i eat plantain too bt wat suits u might be poison to anoda person's system so i dnt tackle pple's suggestion cuz it might b d solution 2 sumone else's problem...so weneva mamas here gv out info...i reason wt dia points..may God b wt us all.
dia ws dis matron in abuja hospital i used for my antenatal,wen mamas asked her for advice abt wat to eat or not to eat,she wil tell us dat wateva u eat nd it agrees wt ur system kip eatin it nd d one dat ur system rejects,pls stop it immediately dont force itgrin
my tak is ..first trimester is d most delicate period nd am alwz extrakiaful wt wat i consume bt afta dat lipsrsealed

Morning all. Thanks for your prayers.. I need them seriously.
Mama Zaynie, I just can't thank you enough.. To think that u were awake doing all that research for me. I dropped my phone since last night. My uncles have been sending in prayers and DH has been praying into water, oil, my tummy, he's been fasting for seven days now.. I had to drop my phone to focus on the prayers. I just read through now.
I still use my cyclogest and pregnacare but doctor refused to give me clexane injection. I stopped my progynova too.. It's oestrogen and I learnt oestrogen thickens the walls.. And doc said my wall is too thick.

I want to discuss the scan centre with DH. I pray traffic won't be much. But I'll really prefer to meet that doctor.
Zaynie, Onyinyechika08 and rofemiguwa pls let me call your lines directly. Please for God's sake. I'll PM you so you can give me your direct lines.
Rofemiguwa, the way fertility clinics are, all your result goes into your file. They don't give you. Last time I snapped the scan result nii. Though doctor said I should ask for a copy while the scan is on if I need it but I was crying profusely that I remembered nothing.. But I can describe what I saw in details.

remember writing something about me having high prolactin and the oestrogen becoming dominance while I was trying to conceive on TTC thread though mine didn't take long before I took charge of my fertility after being married for nine months I started my own research I told my doctor about milk coming out from my breast after three miscarriages. I was given bromergon to start with, started on CD1 of my period and I got my BFP on CD 25 infact if I had done it earlier I would av seen a clear positive. I didn't stop using my drugs despite the terrible side effect until the milk dried up completely, now my pregnancy is almost 16weeks and Lo is doing just fine. High prolactin can Can make oestrogen to be dominance. You can do more research and take charge.... God is in control.

I really dont have a pleasant night atall because of running stomach which makes me to purge truout the night and it asnt stop till now,am also feeling feverish and my appointment is on friday,i only took paracetamol and flagyl but its still the same.
Am so weak right now and am 27wees plus.
Pls help me @all mama's and papa's

I've stopped the progynova and clexane injection but I'll use the 4 tabs of cyclogest I still have.
I'm just lying down here begging God.
Mama Zaynie, I don't know what the problem is.. I just know I've never crossed this 8weeks. Then I was told it's low progesterone so I normally support with primolut injection yet it still happens.
This time around I allowed a fertility doctor do all the prescription and diagnosis... Hcg doubled initially then increased but not doubling.. I've done several tests in my life.. Including torch screen.. Those rubella and Co..my sample was taken to India. Last week gestational sac was irregular.. Today we only saw the foetus up but no definite sac.. Everything on the screen was white... No dark circle.. And no heartbeat... At 7weeks 6days! Doctor said the wall is too thick for an 8weeks pregnancy and the foetus length is way too small for such a term too. I saw few tiny dark hole bubbles.. He called them Aqua something.. Maybe they're water pockets.. I don't know.. He said they are bad signs. He gave me augmentin for the tan mucus discharge I'm having.. I'm just devastated!

I dey oooo, these 3rd trimester is treating me well, no funny pains at all, but once I don't sleep well my feet swells up. But my LO?gush this man is active, and he kicks so much that he makes me eager to meet him.but my question is...
My tummy isn't that big(for my eye o) I use general hospital them doctors use tape rule, they say it's the normal size but I see mama's with bigger tummy.My sister says it's because it's my first, Abeg how true is that?

cutienik, I was only sharing my experience not telling her to go ahead and eat it, I remember taking pineapple and I was so troubled, I didn't know it causes contraction then, I kept going round my street cos the pains didn't allow me sit or lie down.

I bought comfit... That's the one on my hospital list... It's recommended cos of heavy flow, and it's softer than normal thin pads, so it's more comfortable... E no go dey chook you, e no go dey pain you too...

I'm not carrying my baby bath set... That will be too much load...

Zaynie, I got doc Alemo50's contact from his page, called him and he said I should proceed to ikeja even if he's there or not.. I'll leave right now! If traffic builds, I'll just tell dh to park and take BRT nii.
