ukay2: Better use that money for ucap and afriprud for another stock with potential bull or jump in at current price if can take the risk. I used the money I reserved for ucap to buy livestock and it is paying off now. 1 Like |

ukay2:be very diligent next week with you portfolio. The reason for the bull was the rumored statement that federal government has devalued the naira to N298 to $1.Parallel market reacted to such yesterday ending last evening to N352 to $1 but since the report by CNB against such came out today the naira has gained to N330 t0 $1 this evening.Expect the stock market to follow suit on Monday. Can you imagine that dividend yields of about 10% could not stimulate the market the way budget passing and subsidy removal have done. Incredible! We learn everyday. 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ukay2: 9:42pm On May 14, 2016 |
chipa: Thanks. But naira may be devalued on May 24th after CBN forex policy meeting on that 24th May 2016. Although i do not like devaluation of naira, but The FGN has put itself in tight corner in deregulating the downstream sector last week; telling every oil marketer yo source for forex at open market between N 285_295 to $1. This will put pressure on the FGN to devalue naira next week as the oil marketers will jark up the price of PMS to N200; reason being that they did not see $ to buy at that N285-295 to 1$.....This may be the reason the FGN may bow to pressure to devalue naira at the next CBN forex policy meeting (24th may). This is just my tumbotumbotumbo Or Under-table analysis shaaaaaaooo We should keep our eyes open and watch the market closely. |

That Ren Cap analysis on first bank carried by nairametrics is beginning to seem more like a ploy by some gangsters to push the stock price down. About NPL denominated in dollars Or maybe I'm just consoling myself. $$$ 1 Like |

ExLaidback: During times like this one need to be careful and mindful of the news one reads... I saw the report and it was written to achieve mischief and create unnecessary panic in the financial system as it seems far from the truth. The point is, many prophet of doom and slay like dragon King, PETERICHY et al are out there to promote fear, panic just to bring down the economy. Back to the subject matter, why was FBNH selected out of all the banks that gave loans to oil and gas industry..Is Zenith, Access even FCMB not also carrying NPLs as a result of the lull in the industry in their books? I understand a lot of investors are really rooting for the stock to crash so that entry can be cheaper..However, sorry to disappoint them because it ain't gonna happen ( talking like American here).. If anyone wants to join the bus, the time is now coz it might be too late 2 Likes |
