Hi NaijaQT. I read what you wrote with deep interest because I recognise a lot of what you are saying. My father also belongs to the AMORC and a few others including Oddfellows. I also recall my fathers deep meditations, infact there was one room that he had that no one could go into. He would burn incense, and often I would hear strange voices (other than his own) coming from inside as he meditated. Even when he left us, no liked going near that room, and whenever anyone slept there they would have terrible nightmares. I was glad when we moved.

When you spoke of sleep paralysis it hit home like a sledge hammer, because this was one of the things that my sister who (the one now with witchcraft) would talk about often. At one point (around age 13) she would talk about someone "sitting on her chest" and she would feel this thing breathing on her forehead with foul breath. Around this time, she had many emotional issues, swinging from suicidal tendencies to full blown rage. Over time she stopped talking about her sleep paralysis and appeared to "get better". I now understand there had been no "getting better" something had just happened to her spiritually.

I think there is something in the children of cult members and having psychiatric issues. My sister battles with them, and her ex boyfriend whose father was also in an occult, had periodic nervous break downs. So there must be a connection there. As for the homosexual tendencies (without being too graphic) we suspected something similar with my father. Things happened in the household that pointed that way. I have also seen things in dreams and visions that showed me that in the occult & witchcraft world sex is sex to them, and there are no rules - anything goes.

I am so glad that God is opening your eyes to everything that is going on in your life. And the advice and prayers here are golden and God sent. Whatever our parents choices were doesn't have to be our lot, God had given us a way out. For that I am thankful. God bless!

Thank you CharlyG1 and bro temi . Please am always having this sensation on my palms. It started when I pray gradually it stayed on even when am not praying. recently the sensation have been growing much. Also I was projected again to somebody's farm yard there I found two white clothes when I picked the first it was my white shirt which I used on my wedding day as I attempted to pick the second it fell of my hand on my further attempt to pick the second cloth I felt some thing at my back looking back I saw a snake as I made to attack it with a stick my spirit came back to my body again. Do guide me this things are becoming frequent.

Drawing from the scriptures, I will like to present very practical ways to handle Aunty Witch.

Demons do not understand love, it torments them and repels them faster than any other thing, no wonder the bible said 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Because God Himself is love, love is an effective weapon to fight the devil.

Now, let me be an Advocate to Aunty Village Witch and present an argument why she needs your love and care

1. This is a person who is living under torment of the demon residing inside her 24/7. Never ever think the host is exempted from the affliction of the demons living inside them, as a matter of fact, they are only giving you some of the cross they also bear.

2. This is a person who is compelled against her wishes atimes to attack people she holds dear to her heart

3. This is a person who suffers impersonation, as the demons do not ask for her permission to wear her image to appear and attack people in the physical and via dreams

4. This is a person who knows her soul is in damnation and she may have to live eternally with the devil, you need to look beyond her defiance, she has resigned into the fact that no one can save her, thats what the devil keep telling her.

5. This person has suffered more abuse than you can even start to imagine, the demons inside her compels her to only move among people who are equally demonic with far more wicked demons. Atimes, they beat her, rape her, molest her...yeah,she never told you!! but these things happens!!!, I have come across one who is constantly raped by demons physically every night!!. How do you think a woman feels, knowing she has been disflowered by an entity that is not human??

The village witch suffers far far more than you know!!!!!!

Hi temi4fash thank you for asking . I am continuing to put the sister and brother affected by witch craft in prayer. I'll be honest and say I am still battling, especially since I mentioned the cult my father belonged to yesterday (was that a wise decision, I do not know?), but I am praying through it and standing strong. I think often of the story you shared with me and the message you gave...I will be ever thankful for it.

I have also removed the quote and story from my response.

I approached my family regarding fasting together. My mother refused, as she only fasts when her church tells her to fast. And my younger sister is so scared she is now not answering phone calls. Either way I will continue praying. I also mentioned to my mother about talking to the sister who is involved with witchcraft about her condition. My mother believes that if we speak to her about this, she will run away and never be found. She asked me to not speak to her about deliverance and witchcraft. She tells me her church will deal with it in due course. I am respecting her decision regarding this.

I would suggest you leave your family and your sis out of it for now.

Gather enough strength for yourself first, cos when you try to add their weight when you not strong enough, you could choke not like you wouldn't pull thru, you would but it could be trying.

But when you are strong enough, Carrying anyone's weight wouldn't be a problem, in short you would just be commanding and these would be easier.

Thank you sooooooo much for sharing this. For a long time growing up I felt like such an outlier...or rather, I felt like our family was such an outlier in terms of "traditional" Nigerian families. We didn't grow up in a Nigerian community when we were growing up in NJ. So growing up non-religious seemed really uncanny to me knowing that our family back home is largely religious. I'm glad to know that I wasn't only one that experienced this.
