How come you didn't mention anything money that were embezzled. The major cause of the economic hardship and how corruption is fighting back. It is no business as usual. Rather than lament think and see how you can bring out the best in you. Tough times don't last tough people do last
The tough times that APC created abi with their indecision and sluggishness like late ministerial appointment and budget. Obasanjo has said it all that Buhari lacks economic sense. He is a dullard. Meanwhile non of their campaign promises has been fulfilled other than imposing untold hardship on Nigerians.

don't mind the fool who wrote that rubbish,he or she can join NLC to protest,No state in Southwestern Nigeria will protest that rubbish,Subsidy is gone forever, anyone who doesn't like it should relocate to another country.i know some people are still angry they lost power but so sorry to say, they have to wait till 2023.

My friend i know u are entitled to ur opinion but as a young Nigerian its high time we snap out of this political affiliation trash....who cares if labour party or APC or PDP is in power. What every youth should be looking out for is a govt that see and protect our future u feel it doesnt concern u now or the loss of jobs is non of ur business or u can cope with the hyper inflation but if this doesnt change for the better Uganda and Zimbabwe will be heaven compared to where we will be....my 3kobo point sha

Nigerians will not see people like this to put at the helm of affairs...instead they'll opt for recycled-politicians undecided

They are lot I can give but no time to type , that's why I use Tomatoes cuz that's the latest GOLD in naija.... You don't keep barking of fighting corruption by arresting every body will close their yansh and just watch you barking...but if you close the channels then you win war without firing a single shot

Bro, God bless you for this. It is not wrong to arrest and prosecute corrupt people, but that alone is not enough to bring reform...it could've worked in the past, but definitely not now!

Una nor dey tire or ashamed of this blame game? Did GEJ met the country in good shape? Did he complained ? They voted you to perform/work not complained about the past..

This thing is tired some..... GEJ Agricultural reform was seen and felt by everyone ,Nigeria was able to boast of Pyamids of food like in the 60's.

Even Dangote built a Tomatoes processing plant because he saw the wastage last 2years courtesy of GEJ, where are they today? Nigeria na import tomatoes that was wasting past year....is GEJ to blame too? The farmers who are beneficiaries ?95% Northerners) are already feeling it, here you are blaming GEJ... Check how he fight the cabals and corruption on agricultural sector that boost the farmers without arresting, jailing or defamating anyone....

Just a clue: The norm has been giving fund to minister of agriculture who in turn buy seeds and fertilizer for farmers (In Nigeria hope you know the norm)

How he fight the corruption: The farmers registered with their finger print and you can't register twice, funds was disbursed directly to their personal account to buy seeds and fertilizer themselves, no more dash as usual or nepotism in sharing seeds as usual or using 10% of the funds and share the rest among chieftains....

That's 21st century ways of fighting corruption.. Not arresting, jailing and wasting tax payers money on court cases.... Wise up Man
# where these kind of Hardship in GEJ time... Imagine for almost 1wk now I have bin cooking soup with tomatoes paste, my eaten rate have reduce, my aggression have increased, I find it hard to smile like bfore.... #Thunder go fire anybody that talk Blame GEJ in my presence and also talk about #Change

When GEJ and his croonies were looting the Nation dry in full presence of everyone, these Mumus didn't know we would be worse off soon.

When oil prices were free falling without the previous administration saving, some people's brains couldn't tell them we would be worse off soon.

When corruption was the foundation of the Nigerian economy, some people's brains didn't figure out we would be worse off soon. undecided undecided undecided

I'm glad I never got to witness how GEJ would have handled this economic crisis he helped create.... if he had won.

Keep hoping say Naija go better.... Even Igbo man enter the post or Hausa or Yoruba, Nigeria will continue going backward until the leaders cure Tribalism issue....

Until an Hausa man will become Governor of any Eastern state irrespective of where his ancestors came from or an Igbo man become Governor of Kano, sokoto or any south west state...

Until Christians see themseles as equal irrespective of the church you attend and extend such love to Muslims....

Until Hausa stop seeing themselves as Superior

Utill Muslims accept and respect other religions as equal.

Until Tribalism and Nepotism be a thing of the past and so on....

Pls stop dreaming and hoping but work towards those scenario or our children children will face the same thing too.

If your life is worse off then you go and ask PDP and Jonathan that looted the treasury dry, and was sharing dollars during his campaign. Have you so soon forgotten. Didn't you know what Jonathan did will produce the repercussions we are experiencing now.
And you talk of insecurity as if Jonathan tenure
was not the most dangerous times since Nigeria ever existed as a nation(exception of the civil war).
You talk about dollar fall as if you think that everyone has forgotten that during Jonathan time Naira fell against the dollar in just a space of 3 months from N150 to about N220.
Please eschew bigotry and illogical sentiments on sensitive national issues.

All I know is this; If an embecile should contend from the South or North, the North will vote the Northerner and South southerner. I knew it will be like this. We disregarded PMB's past record. Anyway we are waiting for more change. The APC that told us GEJ is corrupt also told us he is not capable. PMB fight is against PDP. Obasanjo fought corruption better than PMB cuz he did not target opposition party (I'm not saying he's not corrupt). Like PMB supporters, I will say "na just 1 year na, make we give am 4 yrs."

Bros, even if we all revolt against this old illiterate, the best we will get is a reduction to maybe N120 or thereabout and this government would think they have done us a favor by that useless act.

We are in deep shiiiit under this dude so we should just brace up.

These points are all signs of a recession. The questions should be: What caused the recession? What are the associated factors that have worsened its effects? What is the ultimate long-term solution?
