That Ren Cap analysis on first bank carried by nairametrics is beginning to seem more like a ploy by some gangsters to push the stock price down.

About NPL denominated in dollars

Or maybe I'm just consoling myself.

Rencap had been crashing fbnh price since the days of John the baptiser.

During times like this one need to be careful and mindful of the news one reads... I saw the report and it was written to achieve mischief and create unnecessary panic in the financial system as it seems far from the truth. The point is, many prophet of doom and slay like dragon King, PETERICHY et al are out there to promote fear, panic just to bring down the economy.

Back to the subject matter, why was FBNH selected out of all the banks that gave loans to oil and gas industry..Is Zenith, Access even FCMB not also carrying NPLs as a result of the lull in the industry in their books?

I understand a lot of investors are really rooting for the stock to crash so that entry can be cheaper..However, sorry to disappoint them because it ain't gonna happen ( talking like American here).. If anyone wants to join the bus, the time is now coz it might be too late

My point exactly, though I'll still be wary

Lets be realistic pls. Support ur points with information and figures....Oando is a long term stock. If anything changes in the short term good.. I have locked down my 200k units till 2018 when they should have paid off their debt as they have structured it..
Secondly, this forum is the best thing that has happened to fellow Nigerians since independence. I just hope newbies make use of it well. Thanks BNSITL for being real to change our fortunes ourselves. -/+ news are welcome.

Rencap had triggered fbnh sell off several times in recent past by their scathing analysis and SELL recommendations. The market holds Rencap recommendations highly but I hope will ignore them this time.

NLC is such a clown. Why is that it is only when there is increase in pump price they threaten to protest and go on strike. They are MAD! Is that the only thing they are supposing to be doing?

What about casualisation of Nigerian graduates by employers of labour, wrongful termination of employment and maltreatment of workers by foreigners, non availability and high price of kerosene, non payment of workers salary by state governors, jumbo salary package by lawmakers amongst others. All these they suppose to be fighting and stand against but they see them as not important. Perhaps, there is no 'egunje' for them doing such.

The strike and protest will FAIL and enemies of Nigeria like PETERICHY would bury their head in shame....NUPENG, PENGASSAN, BANKS AND OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS UNION under NECA have all pulled out from joining the strike...

NLC is a failed and disappointing union which has lost relevance in modern day unionism..
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Godisfaithful: 5:52pm On May 15, 2016
NLC is a clown and trying to stabilize their relevance which they have lost for so long. Waiting for Peterichy's and his alias to join them from his UAE location...lol

Where is NLC when Naira to $$$ is selling double above official rate? Where's NLC when some filing stations are selling petrol at N200 per liter during the hoarding? Where's NLC when those looters are looting our treasury?

That book is too "American" to some extent. I had to skip a lot of pages that didn't catch my interest. Anyway, its a nice book to read. Lots of great insight.

Yeah you're quite right. It's partly why I've been dragging my feet on completing it 'cos I don't like skipping pages. It makes me feel I'm missing something vital.
