APC would respond it was due to the shoddy job of the previous administration. Lie Lai Mohammed would reel out figures!!! Madam Adeosun would address a press conference, people would be arrested for sharing the contract money ....some would refund.

At the end of the day the monies refunded would be more than the contract sum mobilized, President would address journalists on the issue and promise it would be repaired immediately. VP would visit and commisserate with the residents, promised they would be part of the 5K payments.

Hopefully the minister would visit again and contract awarded after the passing of next year's budget.

We have to get our priorities right as a nation.

I noticed that too! That is some solid work there. You would need to dig to even create a pot hole on that tar. Quality Job and professionalism.

Apart from that the 6days If truly done will tell you what expertise and professionalism can offer. Again the blame should not be on government alone.Often when a road project ETD takes a longer time, the contractor is mostly to blame. Some will collect the monies and divert them or abandon work. Others will tell you so many environmental and personal reasons why work will not move fast. Others will simply keep using unreliable machines to work. At the end you have undue extensions and irrelevant excuses for delays.

Things could be done efficiently and professionally if the contractors live up to the job.Poor planning,management and equipment are the key reasons most contractors delay apart from the big names who charge heavily for projects. One of the amazing project that scares to date is the national stadium Abuja ! Imagine the cost and what we got it?

In naija, 2years to pass d bill,3years to sign it,d next administration will shelve for another year, probably 10yrs in naija
