The kind of performance Rooney gave today,.... only Zidane could have given such. Talk about taking absolute control of a match, changing direction of play, making through passes, passing through the middle, tracking long way back to win clean tackles. Scored one, Assist one with a sexy pass and giving an exquisite pass to Val to make an Assist for Rashford. That was a super virtuoso performance.

Second half was a great performance from the team. Many direct play on total dominance. We could have scored 6 as we were denied two obvious penalties.

David DeGea denied individual award when we went to rest in the last minute of added time. We are always lackaidasical. We could have stopped the build up early but we felt like 'nothing dey happen'. I almost fell from the chair.

Today was another evidence that with our senior players available we can score many goals. Smalling, Valencia and Rooney stopped counter attacks that ordinary would have troubled a defence of young players.
