Been studying housing structures here for my boss in Lagos. Interesting designs.

One thing I noticed at the estates is that sites and services are completed before houses are moved into. It seems in Nigeria-people move into homes a lot when there services like pipe borne water, roads, street lights are not even ready yet.

Still wondering at all these wooden houses here. They look very good when completed though.

When school bus stops to pick or drop children-EVERYBODY must stop even the Governor. Children are really protected here.

Also noticed that the public schools are better than almost any private school.

Seems like this company copied ABC Transports logo!

Visiting the world famous walmart. Lots of cheap items here. I hear they are coming to Lagos. My boss wants me to find out if he can be a supplier to them.

Old cars sell for a lot here. This mans car looks like a 1920s car or earlier. Its probably worth over $200,000 for a car that old. I may have to go and find my grand fathers 1950 car back in the village.

Chicago is actually an amazing city and Lagos cannot compare, it just has high gang on gang killing in a few areas down south. As a law abiding educated Nigerian working, there is absolutely no reason for you to even go to not to talk of live in those areas so I don't get the point you are trying to make. The same Chicago you are dissing had 50m visitors last year, wow they all died didn't they?

America is HUGE, at least 10 times bigger in land area compared to Nigeria with just double the population, if you cannot find a safe place to live then that's your problem not America. Besides was the OP living in ajegunle?

Yes I said there is gang on gang crime and killings but it is mostly in a few areas south side like englewood which are infested with black gangs, and a few areas west side like Austin which is occupied by Mexican Latina gangs. Most of Chicago downtown, North and even south etc not to talk of the suburbs are as safe as any major city and even safer than Lagos. Stop twisting information just got make your point.

If you are a law abiding person there is no reason whatsoever to be in those areas and as I said 50m people visited Chicago last year and were safe.

I also think most American houses are made of wood because there is a lower risk of fatality in the event of an earthquake or tornado.

IT folks earn a lot more here. Its actually easier to secure a well paying job here as an IT person if you are skilled at what you do. The average pay is usually about over a 100k for people with experience and about 80 to 90k for freshers.

The case is different here in the US. Your take home actually depends on the number of dependents you have. If you don't fill your tax form correctly, you could over pay or under pay your taxes. When you over pay, you get a refund when you file your tax return else you may owe government some money.
