Some times I just ignore them ...it takes guts to venture out in foreign places to dominate ...it is either for economic or political domination

Chinese , USA , Brits and Indians are all in Lagos which include Igbo and Hausa and they have to dominate their niche market which they are doing very well

The Hausa have dominated the fruit and kiosk business ...this business is worth billions daily
The Igbo we know that they have dominated markets from parts to electronic to ICT ...that also runs in billions
The efik Ibibio dominated the cuisine business with their Calabar foods ..that's billions
The Indians and other Asians are into productions and that is billions
The Yoruba are still making their marks but with bigger strides in touting and alaye mentality ..this is a fact ..if you doubt go to oshodi, Ipodo Ikeja and other places in the morning

So I feel that Yoruba must have a rethink especially their youths because I have seen some decent Yoruba and hardworking Yoruba...especially the ijebus..though these ijebus hate been called Yoruba people because they don't believe in that oduduwa madness.. They are different breed . they are just skwrs and they have cornered the lace and gele market

Now the question is not about migration but about economic domination that is what fuel migration

See as werey package am.Domination of fruit and kiosks. Domination aye grin otondo you didn't list the real thing you dominate like prostitution . if I give you spiritual slap from here with that ICT you wrote up there. Delete it.

The same ijebus that even their King just recently settled an issue with the Alake on the issue of the ranking of Yoruba Kings. Hey and please don't give me any rubbish link about Sudan nonsense. We sorted that out a long time ago. Your own economic migration is as a result of poverty and I've told y'all your Domination ends in the market. Dem don kill una tire for north yet y'all still go there. That's as a result of poverty so don't compare yourselvrs to the indians and the lebanese. The last time we checked, trade only accounted for 7% of Lagos GDP so take it slow hun. I keep asking y'all what exactly do you have or possess that can make the average Yoruba man jealous of you, you keep telling me it's because you've bought all their properties. Properties y'all bought in your dreams grin grin
Yorubas still control business in Lagos. If you want to spar, you can quickly open a thread for it

Igbos want to leave. Is it whathaveidone or hundred hundred that's stopping you from leaving?. Oh! You want yorubas go come out and participate in your Biafra jogging tournaments? grin grin The last time y'all went home for Christmas, I gave you a tip to carry all your jargons along, hoist your flags and declare Biafra. cheesy

My question is this. How exactly is the average Yoruba Nairalander stopping you from leaving. I need answers. Have the borders been blocked? Thought y'all said yorubas are irrelevant so how come the same Yorubas hold the key to your freedom?

I agree with the last part. Igbos are not superhumans, they're petty traders grin cheesy

Yes, and we see lebanese in most countries of the West Africa doing trading, does that mean Lebanese are more than Brazilians who you don't see that much in Africa? Because some groups are more spread out than others in particular areas does not mean they are more, ok... that is just common sense to even a child.

Now you see why I called your comment dumb.

Can you imagine the Igbo lie, that Ijebu hate being called Yoruba. Why do Ibos lie this much just to appear good online. They lie everywhere and always believe there own lies. They have no history except the rubbish of originating from Isreal cos they were chased away there, dont know whats wrong with people from that tribe. Everything is lies and chest beating. Smh

you are indeed not as smart as I previously assumed of you.

Yorubas and Igbos, two ethnic groups in Nigeria..... comparing the presence of both in Edo state which both are not indigenous to.
Lebanese and Brazilians, two Nationalities of the world, comparing their presence in West Africa, a region both are not indigenous to, says nothing about the population of both, That only tells you which of both groups is more spread out.
It is a perfect analogy if you ask me.

Even stooping down to your level of reasoning, do you see as much Hausas as Yorubas in Benin? Does that tell you anything about the population of both groups? Pls don't quote me again.... the stupidity is too much for me to bear.

edo state lies between igboland and yorubaland,..well in the same country. Infact edo state has borders with igbo and yorubalands. How can u now start feeling ecstasic abt ur comic analogy with countries across continents, infact 3 seperate continents!

Says a lot about population of ibos if they can saturate the southeast and south, while making impressive shows in the north and evn southwest,...while yorubas are hardly found outside of the southwest!

I thot I warned u just now 2 stop dragging me in2 this dick contest, but u won't listen. U hav to drag me 2 ur level isn't it?

Where did u get that from?
So in what region are Kwara and Kogi states

Go to Jos, Kaduna, Niger states etc and the population of Yorubas there.
In the last census the SE was the least populated of all the geopolitical zones of Nigeria, accounting for only 11.7% of National population, while Igbos as a whole are estimated to be no less than 18% of the country. Where exactly do you think the remaining 7% of them are , if not spread out over the rest of the country?

The SW on the other hand was about 20% of Nigeria, even with the massive undercounting of Lagos.

So if southeast that is almost 100percent ibos can acct for 12percent of total population,..juxtapose that with the fact that over 70percent of ibo population are outside of the southeast,...I'd leave u to do some fast thinking.
I agree that ibos in nigeria are by far more than yorubas.

am yoruba of osun and oyo origin .but av immediate cousins who happens to come from lagos.their family house is at epe staring at at us all thus making lagos a yoruba land.infact my last comment on nairaland was in favour of ibos because I like to incline to the truth.but seeing igbos coming here to rant that yoruba are so timid to travel out of their immediate evironment shows little or no knowledge they know about the yoruba race.do you know there are as many yorubas mainly of ejigbo and Iwo indigines in cote'd ivore as there are igbos in lagos.from khorogo to man to San Pedro to bouake to yamsokorro.evidence of their presence is even more felt in the economic capital abidjan has they are all over every major and minor markets of the city. from popular o'black market to trechville to kumasi,to youpougon to macoury to pump bay are undeniable traces of industrious ejigbo people of osun .only the lebanese can boost of been more successful than yorubas in ivory Coast as they get heavy support from the French government. name it from entertainment to sport to music to trade and commerce are evidence of ejigbo presence.infact razak who plays for mancity in England claims to be an Ivorian but I can personally take to his family house in ejigbo if you don't mind.visible presence of ejigbo indigines in multitude are also found across the major cities of west African nations and these people are just a fraction of yoruba.or is it the ogbomoso people who yorubas ourselves refers to "akole ma gbe"meaning set of people who do not live in the house they built who have ancestral home in takroadi, Cape coast, kumasi volta region and accra ghana that you claim don't travel. in fact olagbemiros house at the heart of jos terminus market is an indication of early yoruba presence in jos.and the last time I checked the set of people are just a section of yoruba race.and I haven't heard ejigbo people attributing the achievements of abidjan to their presence despite been set of the most successful blacks in cote'd ivore. Many of them are ignorant. Heard those Ejigbo guys travel alot, silent business men. We still havent talk about our very rich Ijebu and Egba people, selling gala is not trading but petty things anyone can do. There is one famous Yoruba e-warrior here who is from the Oniru family, you cant see him brag not argue over Lagos since he knows the reality on ground, he just laugh at our chestbeating noisemaking mansion owners. Many have been exposed here before by some yoruba insurgents, so I dont even take them serious anymore. Lol
