Elxandre:

I doubt Zidane started the Senegal match.

Edit.....
He didn't even play, cos I remember he was injured. grin

But he played in one of the matches and they lost. He was poor.

zidane did not play against senegal

Which one did he play and he was helpless.

I think they also lost that match.

How can you see someone who didn't play

Lol!
Herrera could only make 1.6 key passes per game as a no 10 for Bilbao when Cleverley had 1 keypass/game as a central midfielder/wide midfielder for Everton.
Mata on the other hand has been struggling for close to 3-4 yrs now.
All that's not on Van gaal. Shite players are just being shite.
As simple as that.

Look at this screenshot and tell me what you see in respect of our last argument.

We told you that the number of passes does not determine the accuracy.

He was our best player in first half. Even at 0-0 the commentors kept praising him. He was opening and changing our games with passes. Second half was a great football artistry from Wayne.

I agree Rooney had a good game, but u are making it look like he is the best player in the world especially when he has been found wanting this season numerous times.

The commentators were biased about Rooney. In the first half every little thing Rooney did especially the long ppasses were praised to high heaven and when he made a mistake or wrong pass they kept quiet or made a joke out of it.

English commentators will praise Rooney no matter what. Your comparism with Zidane was a little too much and am sure u were not comparing him with Zidane when he (zidane) had a bad game and we all know what Zidane was when he was in his element.

Rooney played against Bournemouth FFS.

Van Gaal targeting United stay and Premier League title

Under-fire Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal shrugged off boos from his own fans to state he expects to be in charge next season.
Louis van Gaal bullishly predicted he will manage Manchester United next season after the Old Trafford faithful showed their displeasure with him in the aftermath of Tuesday's 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth.
Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashford and substitute Ashley Young were all on target as Van Gaal's men coasted to victory in the re-arranged fixture – Sunday's game having been abandoned when a suspicious device was found at the stadium.
But, with Saturday's FA Cup final against Crystal Palace on the horizon, United were playing merely for pride after Manchester City's 1-1 draw at Swansea City on the scheduled final day ended their hopes of a top-four finish and Champions League football.
After the match, Van Gaal was greeted on to the pitch for his post-season address by a hail of boos, although sections of his speech praising the supporters and urging a cup-final victory did draw applause.
Another round of speculation linking Jose Mourinho with the United post preceded the Bournemouth match but Van Gaal remains confident he will see out the remaining year of his contract.
"Yes [I will be here next season], because I have signed a three-year contract," he said at a post-match news conference.
[Van Gaal told Sky Sports after the game that fans' expectations were too high at Old Trafford but appeared to contradict himself in the media briefing when he said United could win the league next season.
"That is always possible because Leicester City was more or less a relegation team. We were fourth and fifth, so normally we are closer," he said.

"But in sport nothing is normal. You have to show it, you have to fight for it."
First on the agenda are Palace at Wembley, where United will attempt to win a 12th FA Cup and first since 2004.
"We have to play the cup final and that is a very important game, very important for the club also," Van Gaal added.
"It is a very long time ago that they won this cup so it is important for the fans, for the club, for my staff and also for myself.
"I came here to win a title and the FA Cup is a big title in England."

All these your stories na say Rooney must not be praised. That was a wonderful performance from someone leaning how to play midfield. He looked like he had played their all his life, he took the game and put it in his packet. Even the first touch people complained about, he has been very good at it since returning from injury. And Yesterday you would think it was Zidane making a first touch of the ball.

I was saying he could have off days, and he also had average days.

I am by no means saying Rooney is like Zidane, but his game of yesterday mehn, wish that was how Rooney would play 80% of the time.

You can also look at this pass accuracy and number of passes of our players against Everton at Wembley.

Lingard with about half of number of Rooney and Carrick passes had highest pass accuracy.

I think a lot lies on that. I just hope we don't make a mistake. In my opinion lots of good players will avoid signing for us cos of LVG and the fact that we are NOT in CL. I hope we don't pay ridiculous amount of money for average players like so many of them that we have already

Exactly why we need a reform with the Dutch genius relieved of his destructive mission.
