Depends on what your "cheap" means. if you want cheap browsing, you can migrate to mtn new pulse by dailing *406#. you get to call 11kper second after the first mins at 40K per sec. You can also migrate to beta talk for call bonus on recharge.

Thanks for your help, the context of my 'cheap' is calling not browsing...I don't browse with MTN line. If i may ask please, is there 'new' pulse and 'old' pulse? If yes, please what differences do they have? Thanks for your anticipated swift response.

Thanks for your help. I was about porting to another network due to how i am been excessively charged for making calls on MTN zone which wasn't the case before. I called the customer care rep only to be told the tarrif has changed and calls are now being charged at 40k per sec.

The old pulse is the new pulse with added benefit of N25 for 500MB night browsing. The other one is ipulse.
The ipulse is good for students on campus coz you get a campus rate of 11k/se to all network after the 1st min.
On Pulse _ 1st minute call is 40K/sec.
After 1st minute, call rate is 11K/sec to all network and 8.5k/sec. To other pulse subscriber on mtn. sms cost N3 to all network.
So I think the main difference btw the the pulse and the ipulse is the campus or no campus rate.
