Because there is Oil being mined (and soon to be refined) in virtually all Western states of Nigeria.
And if it is true that the Chad basin is producing Oil in no-time, then it is Uhuru of the Nigerian state..... without a drop of Oil from the ND.

But even more importantly, they fail to understand that with the collapse of oil prices, Nigeria is diversifying her "source of income" away from Oil (which accounts for a mere 13% of GDP ... though about 80% of forex) .. into other sources like Agric, Solid Minerals, e.t.c

Add that to the fact that the Nigerian Armed Forces have been having "field practice/action" with Modern Weapons and Technology, in recent times.

Maybe Israel will finally change its mind and accept them sha.

Problem is that these IPODs and their creek irritants have not WOKEN UP to RECOGNIZE the FACT that the World, the DYNAMICS of CRUDE OIL and the Nigerian Military is CHANGING SO FAST!

Their strategy is based on the "old theory" of "We will cripple the Oil installations in the ND and the Government cannot fight TWO INSURGENCIES at the same time.
