It depends on the serene of your environment. If its prone to dust, you can leave it. But off white aint really white, just variation. It looks like cream.

Since you don't have any color in mind, why not ask your wife or a woman who is very important in your life. If you follow her choice, you'll score some points in her heart and you'll be very glad. Ideas on NL will just get you more confused.

Magnolia or any shade of brown. You need a colour that will blend with the tiles on the wall. Don't try the green you are thinking of.
