Long story short... . The Ajaero led faction in their quest for personal recognition and eventual settlement by the power drunk FG, selfishly destroyed the plans the NLC as a unit prepared. . Surely, thick brown envelopes have passed around. 37 Likes 3 Shares |

“At this meeting, we drew attention of our NLC colleagues that there was no reason we should be persistent about one position…lets proffer alternative positions but they insisted there is not alternative position except the government brings back the price to N86. “Then we asked, is that your only position and you are not changing to any other alternative? And they said yes. And the TUC said we were given a first and alternative mandate by our executive, and this is our alternative. Then we asked them to see reason with our own alternative but they said no. That was where disagreement entered.TUC don chopp money 19 Likes 1 Share |

TonyeBarcanista: Nobody gave TUC any kobo, Nigerians are just not interested in any strike or protest at the moment. Even if TUC and Joe Ajaero faction of NLC joins the strike, it would still have been a massive flop since Nigerians are not in support of it. The success of the 2012 protest was not as a result of NLC or TUC strike, it was a people propelled movement which the two labour unions keyed into after it had gained nationwide momentum. They eventually sabotaged the movement so, Nigerians are wiser now not to join them in any protest or strike this time around. 67 Likes 3 Shares |

NLC should have tried to read Nigerian's body language at this point in time: No Nigerian is interested in strike! The 2012 strike was started by individuals who gathered to demonstrate. NLC hijacked it and sold-out later. Let them leave Nigerians alone abeg! 34 Likes 1 Share |

This is pure sabotage,NLC had a position on the fuel price and you have other issues,y can't you bring other issues on in the struggle instead of backing out. Oga TUC,talk tru and tell us how much una collect... This issue is dangerous omen for the masses cos it is these unions that can fight against harsh govt decisions for us appart from unyielding social media rants.if they are being ridiculed like this,I wonder what will happen if the govt make worst decisions in future. Every reasonable and masses oriented govt would pre-inform the people before making this kind of decision, for instance if they announce the PMS will sell for certain amount by 1st june. 4 Likes 1 Share |

sleazy5:lolz. but they accepted the partial remover, right? why will the wabba led NLC faction insist that the pump price must be reverse? while in 2012 they accepted the partial remover of subsidy and accepted palliative measures from the government. or are they trying to dictate to the government? 2 Likes |

This backstabbing betrayal from TUC will backfire some day. It's a shame. TUC have abandoned the people for their personal enrichments. There are rumours that TUC excos collected huge sums of monies and choice properties in Abuja to pull out of the strike action 5 Likes 1 Share |
