When a government is not able to perform its duties, this is what you get...imagine a father telling his kids to source food from anywhere, maybe nieghbors, friends etc.... Avoid this economic meltdown by being your own CEO....let me teach you how...contact me.. |

Some people would just come here and spew trash our foreign reserve was $47 billion Gej came and he depleted it to $27 billion now if Buhari continues to deplete it we would be in an Economic mess you people should go and ask venuzuela they are in a mess cos they depleted their foreign reserve that is why Cbn is very strict with our foreign reserve Here are the solutions until the price of oil goes high again in the international market or until our diversification is complete and until dangote refineries are working cos that refinery is gonna fetch forex for the Fg so we are in for a long thing people should stop blaiming Buhari go and ask venuzuela and zimbabwe 1 Like |

frenchwine: Wailers just wail without thinking. Where do you expect government to get the dollars to assist the oil marketers? Get a printing machine and start printing dollars? You people talk as if you are not aware that our only source of foreign exchange is crude oil and it has been selling for less than $40 for the past one year, apart from sabotage of production by militants. As long as revenue from oil dwindles, every one of us will have to source our own dollars to import foreign goods. So quit wailing and do something that can earn you some dollars. 3 Likes |

The thing is that our government will never stop playing politics and govern this country. The only lasting solution to this problem is to free this sector completely. Legalize those small small illegal refineries. Let any one who wants to refine get his equipment and refine, sell crude to them. Train them if u want and regulate the quality. With dat u will stop vandalism, create alot of employment, correct all this forex problem, constant power supply, and build our gdp 4 Likes 1 Share |

amyzon: You obviously have no idea of what you are talking about. Legalize illegal refineries? Have you seen the environmental damage caused by the so called refineries? Maybe you should advice them to site the illegal refineries in your father's compound. Are you going to use illegally refined petrol in your car? Then be prepared to scrap your engine Also write your will before you light illegally refined kerosine in your stove. You talk as if setting up a proper refinery is like setting up pure water business, even setting up a standard pure water business will cost nothing less than N1 million. Setting up the smallest refinery would cost tens of millions in dollars, where do you want ordinary people to get that kind of money? |

When the FG lifted subsidy and asked the marketers to source forex themselves shows we lack leadership. How will they source the forex when their is scarcity of forex in the pararel market for importers? Expect inflation to sky rocket because the fuel markeyers will invade the already scarce forex market putting more pressure on the naira and adversely affecting every commodity in the market, prices will go up from fuel to clothing to household down to food, then their will be no one to blame but Pmb who wants to achieve everything at once. Next time we should make sure we look for someone with a strong educational background for leadership not this old illiterate who is bent on destroying all the achievements of the past govt. 4 Likes |

wirinet: So if the almighty govt cannot get dollars it is the Marketers that would be able to get dollars from heaven. After calling them 5% you want to take the oil from there place to continue to feed the 97% and think some of them are not as irrational as the president when he made the 5% statement and they are exhibiting their irrationality by blowing up oil facilities. Until we do the right thing we will continue to suffer unnecessarily. |
