seyoops4u Why did you say there was no yellow icon? Is that not a yellow icon on Broadcom USH? Connect to the internet, Right click Broadcom USH and choose update drivers. Or google broadcom ush drivers and look for the one that says bluetooth. |

seyoops4u: Don't bother Broadcom USH is not the bluetooth device. Your laptop doesn't have so you either buy the internal one or by the usb type. 1 Like |

OlaBa: Most likely virus, it could also be bad sectors on the harddrive or intermittent fluctuation of connection during download. You can scan for viruses with your antivirus and also scan for bad sectors by right clicking the harddrive in my computer, choosing properties then clicking tools tab and then scan drive. |

Hello house, I just bought a US used DELL Inspiron 5000 series. Used it all day until I got home in the evening only to turn it on and it booted with this loud beeping sound (short beeps, 5 times in a row continuously). I have remove the laptop battery and powered from charger only, changed CMOS battery with another dell still the beep won't stop. Laptop boots well and I have even used it and everything still works fine. The beep becomes very faint after windows load. Please any idea or suggestion on how to fix it? thank you in advance |

feelme3: Confirm your BIOS type. Immediately the computer starts press F2 or Del (whichever triggers the BIOS info screen). Note the BIOS type. From the id we can know what the 5 beep code is for. |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by LordReed(m): 3:45pm On May 21, 2016 |
feruchii: Cancel it using Using Command Prompt To cancel a scheduled check disk, open an elevated CMD windows (press windows key + r, type cmd then press shift+enter), type the following and hit Enter: chkntfs /x c: Here c is the drive letter. This should cancel the scheduled chkdsk run. |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by Akell(m): 7:10pm On May 21, 2016 |
LordReed: did exactly what you proposed bro. still no headway. or could my subscription type be responsible for this? I subscribed for the Airtel 1k for 3G. maybe it doesn't support hotspot with laptop. before now, I use Airtel 1.5k for 3G and it connects effortlessly. my thought though. I'll still appreciate any other help from you thanks! |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by LordReed(m): 11:29pm On May 21, 2016 |
Akell: Your BB subscription (whatever type it is) should not prevent your laptop from connecting to the hotspot. |
