exelseries: Hahaha.... California gold rush phenomenon better known as 'forex foray' where the only ones making any money are those organising seminars, workshops and trading aids and in the case of California those who sold or leased pick axes and shovels to the prospectors. |

With the menace of rampaging herdsmen everywhere this is a good case for those seeking local solutions to the great protein question. Everyone can and should raise fish. Though catfish is close to the bottom of the fish quality index, it remains far healthier than any red meat out there. 3 Likes |

snezBaba: Beyond any other excuses and complains, let the people fear God and turn from their wicked ways and then God Himself will remove curse from them and bless them, otherwise it will be strangers who will be blessed by such resources while they will be getting death and curse. Such things happened to the Jews when they were sinning. They became slaves and it was strangers who were reaping the products of their labour. |

snezBaba: They are angry about their degraded and polluted environment and their solution is to keep blowing up more pipelines, well-heads, illegal refineries that cause massive spills? Kudos to their stup.idity! The ND are not just cutting off their nose to spite their face but cutting off their head to spite their body - are they not the ones who will die and suffer the most? GEJ refused to provide the $1 B for the environmental cleanup and while the current government was already committed to this project, the same ND responded to the gesture by causing more massive pollutions by bombing more infrastructure, causing more pollution, scaring away investors, and now they want to farm fish? They are way too stoopid for blowing up their environment and their coming generations will surely suffer so much for their actions! If the world does eventually move further away from oil, then oil price will fall nearly permanently (because of reduced demand) and the oil companies will exit quickly with whatever they have made and go back to other environments where their costs are much less as they do not have to put up with savage illiterates who want nothing good in their backyards! 2 Likes |

kbams241: OP, I really do commend your entrepreneurship skill and zeal, I like that you're doing something for yourself and not waiting on white collar. However I want to point out something you probably know or just ignorant of. Catfish are known to be rugged due to their survivability in their harsh habitat but that isn't enough reason to stress the fish cos i also understand its off higher value in money and boosting your production. You see those fins turning blood red...that's a sign the fish is stressing and could lead to death. out of water in a wheelbarrow without water to help it relax, then into a bowl putting it in a difficult position to weigh, this a kind of cruelty to animal. Then again... What do I know, just saying 2 Likes |

nice one op. but please clarify people as regards the weight of the fish. so they wouldn't be misled. That is not 15kg. Try to minus the weight of the bucket to get the weight of the fish. Let us know the weight after doing that. Well done. |
