This Canadian study permit is one of the most challenging things i have done this year...

From the day I applied to Humber college to the stage I am currently, is one of the toughest things I have done this year..

Ancestors!,anyone can be your sponsor,just provide all necessary documents required to back it up,and a well written letter of sponsorship,. grin

Hello house, please I submitted my application on the 20th of April, but I've not been called for medical yet. The two mails I got was "no update yet" I believe something good will happen. Anybody with submitted application around or after that date with any update?

Canada does not have embassy in nigeria.

They only have deputy high commission office in Victoria island buy they don't open today. Today is a public holiday in canada

It's the VFS office. It's not open today, you can check tomorrow.

No it is not too short as long as it is above 6 months. Canadian Study permit is only issued for programs above 6 months and anything less 6 months, you secure a visitor's visa.

Goto CIC website, create an account using the GCKey option.. You will see the option to link your application once you are logged in.

Probably one of the informations u provided is missing. E.g. Writing only your given name under the OTHER NAME option will give you the same story. You have to write both ur given name and middle name. I had this issue initially.

Good day house, I just checked mycic account now and i saw it has been approved and closed. Glory be to God. Although, i am confused because i have not yet received any approval mail although i linked my paper application to mycic account. Is this normal?

Hello guy, bin following this thread for quite a while and you guys are really doing a great job. I need an urgent replies pls guys. I studied chemical engineering with a CGPA 3.45. I opted in for a PGD program in Engineering and Technology management ( project management). I wasn't offered an admission . the agent told me he also applied for some people with way lower CGPA and they gained admission. I really dunno what the problem could be. I wanted to apply for chemical engineering or a very good engineering-related course but I was told there was no way I could get it on PGD basis. I was also told that most people studying engineering in colleges are advanced diploma programs and are not post graduate programs. I really need a very good engineering course that's related to chemical engineering for PGD that I could use later as a step for masters in chemical engineering, cos I was also told that dose running advanced diploma programs can't use it for a step up for masters programs. pls how true is this and pls I need you guys to suggest for me a very good engineering related course. I need it ASAP. I've just bin disappointed for admission for fall semester.

Anyone could manage to provide a sponsor with too much money, it's best to be your relative because that way the VO will reasons to believe the sponsor is your family and it's reasonable for him to spend lots of money on you via skl. But the puzzle the VO is gonna ask if the sponsor is not your relative is why would a random person who's not your relative want to spend huge amount on someone especially in the present world today. They know Nigerians are desperate to come abroad. Put yourself as the VO. Unless you have a strong proof to show that this your sponsor has been sponsoring you all the way. It's easy to proof if he has. All the best
