No be only unlimited
20 hours when school is in session and 40 hours during like summer holiday. Make sure you only work on campus as an international student

Exactly the reason I told her to confirm with the embassy. At least, they can tell her instantly the status of her existing visa. I have been on this thread for quite some years and I have seen alot. Some come back to say the existing B1 was cancelled and some say it remains valid.

Congrats SirRiddy, the memoir you wrote about your application to graduate school really helped me a lot.
I applied to 2 PhD programs then and I had been interviewed by a supervisor so I decided to suspend my other applications cos of the positives from the interview.
After reading your memoir, I completed my applications to Tennessee tech and etsu and I got admitted.
Your lovely write up really spared my blushes cos I'm still awaiting the decision from my PhD program.
I would really love to meet you in person to say THANK YOU for that lovely write up that saved my application.

Ofcourse you can sponsor yourself If you have the money

Congrats Sirriddy. I have always held this belief that the SOP is the single most important admission document. It's like u r being given a chance to explain y u want in, they won't be looking out for stereotypical scribblings; they will be looking out for passion n hunger. This whole admission stuff is not about the figures, everyone have decent scores; it's about the words n d profs will read every bit of it.

Most US schools are quite expensive.
That's why it is advisable to have a good cgpa and test scores.
They help you get funding.

i know the 30days rule,My classes resume September and it would be stupid of me traveling on F1 visa now.Am only traveling on my B1 visa to the states and be there for 2weeks or the whole of June and return back to Nigeria. And travel September 1st on my F1. I have concurrent B1 visa that expires May 2017 and my B1 was not cancelled when I got my F1.

Are you with your passport now and do you have the 2 visas on it Which I believe that the B1/B2 would be cancelled before issuing be F1

Maybe error from the embassy but Poe will correct that's if truly is an error from the embassy..
