[size=14pt]When they attack in the north, they are called by their true name - Boko Haram.
When they attack in the south, they are called by their codename - Fulani herdsmen.

Blame the Northern elites and elders for Boko Haram. They romanced with it (Boko Haram) and weaned it because they wanted GEJ out by all means. Now that GEJ is out, it's still tormenting them like a ghost. Boko Haram could have been wiped out a long time ago if the North had supported Ihejirika & GEJ. It's a pity they didn't. Now Boko Haram has come to stay. It can be weakened, but can never be wiped out. It's too late.

All the communities being attacked are Christian

Do you expect the Khalifa of the Niger to protect Christians?

The media blackout is hiding the fact that bokos are far from defeated.

If they have been defeated why did buhari host a regional security Conference with the French president present to address boko haram scourge?

Technically defeated Boko Haram in a fantastically corrupt Nigeria, why do you want to discredit the only score card of our president on May 29? Oh I forgot he's going to announce the list of looters also on May 29. Mumu president for zombie citizens.

I guess they also wanted Yar'adua out cos Boko Haram first surfaced during him regime but unlike an irresolute GEJ, he was quick to wipe them out and even their leader was captured. Let's be frank,GEJ performed woefully in tackling Boko Haram!

I am so still trying to understand how people can destroy their homeland and people in the name of religion.
After studying the way the international media tend to generalise issues( you have to go to blogs like the Atlantic long read or read books ), my guess is that there are underlying tribal / resource issues involved .

Anyone interested should read this article
